So the powerlifting 5/3/1 switches weeks one and two and adds a few heavy singles at the end of weeks 1 and 3 but the question I have is the original 5/3/1 says to go for as many reps as u can on the last set, would u still do this for the powerlifting one or would u do the recommended reps and save ur energy for the heavy singles?

Ok, first, this sport is very cheap. Go to a gym, get a membership and start lifting. However, I am still doing the burnout set on the last set of each day, plus at the beginning stages of running the program, I do singles. I do these only until I am up to a weight that I relatively struggle with to get my reps for the program.
PR's: 365 | 280 | 500 = 1145 lbs
