    If I was in the gym and saw it, definitely the squat. Everybody benches, and I see alot of guys put up 315 (or close).

    NEVER see a2g squats, especially over 2 plates.

    I'd say 3 plate bench b/c I can 4 plate ATG 5-6 reps but can't put up 3 plates on bench anymore since I f'd my shoulder up 3 years ago.

    4 plate squat more functional of a lift though.

    If you can do one you should be able to do the other, but alot of times you get people that are too lazy to squat.

    Bench for sure. That squat should only take about 9-12 months to get.

    I'm reverse. Bad shoulder so I don't go heavy on chest anymore but I am too lazy to care about BP.

    Incline DB BP is a different story though.

    I can see how people would say the squat because its way more rare to see in an average gym, but for me personally the squat seems more easily attainable than the bench.

    That's too relative of a question.

    Your squat is nothing to me and I warm up with more than your bench.

    My point isn't to put you down, but point out that lifting is about you against yourself. I've been lifting for 27 years which is longer than you've been alive. Meanwhile, there's guys who started lifting yesterday and all of us blow them out of the water, but who cares?

    Is lifting that amount a new breakthrough for you or not?

    i can name like easily 10 people at my gym that can bench 315, i/ve never seen a decent 4 plate squat in my life ( a couple 1/4 reppers, but thats it...) and i only know of one guy that can

    squat for sure. squat>bench>deadlift imo, and i only say that because there are too many skinny one-lift wonders that deadlift in the 6s then squat in the 3s and bench in the 2s
