Can i leave weights on this?

This is a picture of my power cage, was wondering if i could a) use the band pegs or whatever theyre called, the things for the resistance training you see on the top there, to hang the lighter weights, probably 80lbs spread on both sides of the back? should i put some on the front too to even it out?
    b) leaving the bar on it with/without weights ok? even with the band pegs holding weights on the back?

thanks for any help will rep any good answer!

If you already have the rack, try it out and see what happens, sorry I can't be of more help.

edit; Not sure what you are asking in b). Are you planning on putting the bar empty on the band pegs, or just on the j hooks?

The rack needs to weigh more than the band resistance. If you're using 60 lb bands, put 40 lb of plates on the rack. Hopefully the weight of the rack adds another 20. Or you can bolt it to floor.

He is asking if he could use the band pegs as plate storage.

    lol. ffs.

Yea the pegs should take a few lbs, maybe 40 per peg. You'll have to wait to see any damage because any bend in the peg will become visible over time. And a bar shouldn't be left with weights, bars bend from that. You can leave the bar on the j-hooks unloaded.
