    Fat burners and adrenal glands

    Hey all,

Not sure if this has been covered but I was wanting to get an idea on what I can do.

I'm cutting at the moment and I got some hyper shred by BSN but due to using pre workouts for a while I've burnt my adrenal gland out and I get no energy from the hyper shred. I'm not taking pre workouts at the moment in an attempt to help my adrenal gland recover a bit. If anyone else has had this if you could let me know what you did that'd be great.

    Cheers

Adrenal fatigue is greatly overrated. What makes you think you burned out your adrenal gland? Is this a medical diagnosis?

If you aren't feeling anything from the stims, then you should take a break for 4 weeks and you should be good.

You have not burned out your adrenal glands due to preworkout use

    Adrenal fatigue isnt even real.

Adrenal insufficiency is a completely different thing and is not related to stimulant usage.

I've taken an 8 week break from stims previously and when I started them again they hit me really hard. What could be an explaination for that?

That has nothing to do with your adrenal gland.

You had a tolerance built up due to an upregulation of central adenosine receptors.

Your break gave your body time to downregulate central adenosine receptors. So when you came back onto stimulants, you had reset your tolerance.

your body has built up a tolerance to the stims, much like anything else (alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, etc)

it's best to cycle the stuff, I go stim on heavy lifts and non stim when I'm deloading..
