    Mag-10 and low testosterone...

    Hey guys,

Nice to meet you all. It's my first post here, and it's glad
to be apart of a community of like-minded dudes. Cool stuff.

Here's my post. Hope you can share some feedback on it and
maybe help a few other guys out in the process...

I'm a 20 year old bodybuilder from England. I've been training
on and off for the better part of 4 years, but like most guys,
motivation has stopped me from making great gains. I train for
1-2 months almost perfectly... then get caught up in the rest
of life, put it on hold for a while, regret my mistakes, and
then jump back onto the training bandwagon.

That's pretty much been the cycle over the past four years and
amidst it all, I've managed to put on some good gains here and
there, and maintained a pretty active body weight.

Now, I ain't big. I measure 5'8" and weigh in at around 142lbs.
That's not "big" by any definition, I know. But I started very
skinny, at around 128lbs - and because I'm not tall and I have
a very low body fat % (around 3-4%), I make strong, muscular
gains and I'm pretty toned. I'd consider my body type to be mid
ecto/endo -- I'm "slight" in frame, but when I concentrate with
a good diet and training, I can pack on muscle pretty quickly.

Anyway, long-winded intro... here's my question...

I'm young, but I take a fair toll of stress. I run an Internet
company, and work long hours. I live with my girlfriend in the
UK, and I pretty much control my lifestyle. No college, no Uni,
no this-or-that. Whatever I want, basically. That's my advantage
and I'm grateful for having it. But, it comes with a price.

It means I often get to bed late, wake up late, don't eat as
good as I could, work too long in front of this screen, don't
go out and "play" as much as I should, etc. As a result, I
think I've let my Testosterone levels suffer. I have very little
energy, wake up dehydrated no matter how much water I drink, and
I've been lagging with the training. Low sexual libido at times
and just a general, low-tone mood on anything physical.

What I need is a boost. I've already modified my diet to reach
an anabolic state, bought all the food I need and planned it
out on a food log... mapped out my training, and got stuck in.

I'm familiar with many training plans.. anything from Bill
Philips, to Anthony Ellis, to the T-Mag guys, articles in
Flex, on this site, Arnold's bible, etc. Must have spent
well over $1,000 on research materials and concluded that
for my body type, training heavy in short, hard bursts is best.

    It seems to work.

But the problem is energy and ENTHUSIASM.

I think I'm lacking in T. So, I went ahead and ordered some
Mag-10 after researching it a little and on the recommendation
of a good friend, who trains good and makes good gains. I have
a shipment of the stuff coming tomorrow.

However, after delving more into THIS site, I see a LOT of
posts advising against PH use at such a young age. I'm 20,
as mentioned. I understand my body is supposed to be a T
generator, and I should be pumping out the stuff 24/7. Problem
is, I just don't feel it. I'm short, feel weak, lethargic and
generally unmotivated. I've tried dietary adjustment, herbal
cleansers, self-help, yoga, meditation, hypnosis. Some stuff
works, and I embrace that. It's cool. But I still feel dead.

So, my Mag-10 is coming tomorrow and I'm undecided. I'm a
health freak and the last thing I wanna do is screw up my
body over the long-term. But, a pep would be nice. So I'm
thinking... do I toss the bottle aside for another few years
(or bin it, depending on it's shelf life), or do I tread
carefully and take maybe 1/2 or 3/4 of the usual dose just
to give me that extra boost?

It's a 2 week cycle. I just need something to throw me back
into the flames, so to speak. I'm heading out to Ibiza in
5 weeks and I wanna cut up my abs, pecs and biceps a little
more before I hit the beaches. I know, I know - 5 weeks is
nothing. But I've put on 10lbs or more in this time before
and I just want that little extra "edge", you know?

Do any of you guys have any thoughts? Should I avoid PH at
all costs, or take half the recommended dose for 2 weeks
just to pick me up a little? I'm experiencing all the
symptoms of low T, and believe me guys, I'm up to my eyes
in responsibility. I can deal with it, np. But my gains
at the gym are being sacrified. Will Mag-10 help me out?

Appreciate your time/thoughts guys -- I hope to return
    the favor.

    All the best,

    Lee Benson.

    2 weeks? don't bother.

If you think your test levels are low go to an endocrinologist, self medication expecially with something as suppressive as 1-test is not a good idea.

    Also, mag 10 sucks.

I hope you've used the product, before you flame it, BigBenn. I haven't and will not offer my opinion on mag-10 but I will say this: Artificially enhancing your testosterone is a temporary solution, if I were you I would find any possible way to relax. Maybe cut down on work hours a little, or take a vacation (Ibiza). Perhaps what you are lacking in is encouragment or motivation, not testosterone?
Theres nothing to see here - move along.

It's impossible to be an ecto/endo. 20 is not too young for ph usage. I wouldn't really recommend using mag 10, it's very pricey and doesn't last very long.

I'm sure your lethargia is a result of something else. Many people are constantly lethargic, my brother is 14, lays in bed all day, and hardly moves...he's about as lazy as one could get, and he doesn't have any test problems...it's the mentalitly, and diet. Clean up your diet, rid yourself of saturated fats, consume EFA's for your fat intake, and you will have more energy. Eat most of your carbs from low GI sources, and you will have more energy. Chances are there are nothing wrong with your test levels at all...everyone feels lethargic, and you just have to push through it and go train, that's all there is to it. You can even have a doctor check your test levels, chances are they'll come out fine, if not...he'll give you something, and you'll be set. And if you've only been training off and on for a while, PH isn't for you anyway. Peace

Maybe you should see a doctor before 'guessing' you have low testosterone.

Thanks for all of your feedback, guys.

Firstly, my goof on the body type. I meant "endo/meso" - I gain
"good" weight fairly easily and have a natural tendency to build
muscle, but have an extremely high metabolism and some bone size
overall. I'm sure I classify in one category or another technically,
but I share characteristics in both -- so that's the best way I
    could describe that.

    Of course, I'm "guessing" that I have a lower-than-average T
level, but it is just a guess, based on the symptoms I seem to
be suffering with. I have changed my diet along with many other
factors - and have logged, tracked and re-modified again and
again. Maybe it's not T, but whatever it is, is sapping me of
large quantities of energy to the point that it's hard to do
anything. It's not a factor of "lazyness" - I push as hard as I
can. But there's a time when you wanna stop having to push, and
enjoy the natural energy levels that healthy individuals feel.

Right now, I just feel drained all the time.

Mag-10 is expensive, yes - and it doesn't last long. But I've
already ordered the stuff and it'll be here tomorrow. My Q is,
will it be SAFE for consumption? The replies I've received so
far (and many thanks) say NO, and that's what I wanted to know.

For now, when the stuff comes, I'll store it away in a dark
cupboard and stick to my regular mass eating/creatine/training
schedule and see how things improve over the next 30 days.

I appreciate all your replies. Thanks once again.

    Regards,
    Lee.

if you take the recomended dosages...it's not gunna kill you, but like any PH, there are side effects to be aware of. But i'd recomend talking to a doctor, because if you do happen to have low test levels...he'll give you something MUCH better than Mag-10. Peace

Feeling drained doesn't mean you have low T, I would think that would be one of the last factors.

What is your current cals per day, and protein etc, you might have a bad diet.

How much sleep do you get?

How much sport/exericse do you currently do?

You are 20 you will be fine. The problem is at 2 weeks you arn't going to see anything be it gains or side effects. Bottom line if you are gonna do it, do it right.

He will see gains with a two week cycle. I'm sure of that. From what I understand of Mag10.. it's a very good product just is expensive as hell. People(especially on here) hate Biotest and in turn you will get lots of trashing of their products. This is not a solution for low testosterone. You would use this product for a similiar reason that you would use steroids. This will bring up your T levels, but they will subsequently drop to where they are now(even lower if you don't use proper precautions post-cycle) after you're done with Mag-10.

I personally would not use Mag-10. I'm 20 and have been training for about 4 or 5 years. However, that's just my personal opinion. I am not afraid of any detriment to my health, because there really aren't that many if you use it sanely and take proper precautions.. ie something to increase endogeneous T production post cycle. If you're going to use it... go read everything Bill Roberts wrote about it. He has some articles on mesomorphosis.com as well that(I think) are about Mag10. Do not use it as a 'Solution' to low T. I think a vacation from the various stresses in your life is more in order to help with that.
By the way, if you're worried about T levels, why not get a doctor to check em?

NO, ask tkarrde, he hsa had great success with 2 week cycles.

And you are wrong because its a fast acting steroid(we are not talking about long ester injections comprende? ) and actually it pretty much does ALL of the gains in the first 3 to 4 weeks in my experience.

So you really couldn't be farther from the truth.

And you are wrong because its a fast acting steroid(we are not talking about long ester injections comprende? ) and actually it pretty much does ALL of the gains in the first 3 to 4 weeks in my experience.

So you really couldn't be farther from the truth.
I have alot of experience with 1-test/4ad/test base/dbol/eq base/nandrolone base/winstrol/tren base and my experience is that even with a short ester, gains are only found in the first 2 weeks with test base and dbol both of which would not give very long lasting results.

Some like short cycles but I'm not one of them, nor are most people.
