Cheap but sturdy squat rack for home

    amazon . com/Valor-Athletics-Inc-BD-Storage/dp/B002ME5J3A/ref=sr_1_5?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1358719227&sr=1-5&keywords=Squat+rack

Those 2 have caught my eye. Which one is better for squatting and OHP? I'm thinking the individual stands (BD-8) because I could also use them as safety stands when benching. Any recommendations are appreciated, I'm looking for something at the most $200.

Those are both unsafe junk. Nrither provides the safety need to either squat or bench. you want this:

If you can't afford this wait until you can.

decent full racks can be found for that price on craigslist, it can just take some time (but it is better than buying garbage and having to replace it later on)

I don't have the space for a cage though...

    amazon.com/gp/product/B000VLKOB8?ie=UTF8&tag=stronglcom-20&link_code=as3&camp=211189&creative=373489&creat iveASIN=B000VLKOB8

Basic sturdy rack that seems good, but if there is something better I will spend more. For $250 or so what type of racks are there? I'm mainly looking for built in spotters if I'm spending that much money.

Edit: If I move my stuff into my basement I can get a power rack because there isn't any issue with support beams. My basement is 86" high. I would need a power rack 85" or below, on top of being on the cheaper side. The one Wildtim recommended would be great but it is out of my budget. This rack is out of my budget but I can still afford it:

When you factored in shipping the TDS will be $415.99, making it more than the Powerline PPR200x. Try to contact Fitness Factory and see if you can get a refurbished / floor models of the PPR200x and see if they would sell / shipped it to you for cheaper. They have been a few people here who go a good deal of the 2011 model of the Body Solid GPR378 from Matt or Kyle.

I bought a Valor squat rack for temporary use (home under construction and rack being stored). It really is unsafe. One safety arm already failed (pin did not hold weight) and one of the stands is unstable with minimal load.

This ^^^^. If you're patient, you can find good quality equipment at cheap prices. I just found a Parabody 843 rack with a lat attachment on CL for $150.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel
