Anyone tried accutane to get rid of body acne, because everything I've tried will not work and it looks like accutane is my last option. Heres a pic to show how it looks on my chest:

Yeah if I were you I would go to dermatoligist and they can prescribe something like epiduo or antibiotics. The antibiotics and epiduo cleared my face but my body still has acne. Its annoying cuz sheet I wanna wear me a tanktop in the spring/summer and it doesnt look good when you got a bunch of **** allover your body!

Dont do it. Accutane made me lost weight when I took it. I was depressed. It worked like wonders. But my back never cleared up.
Currently on a cut.

I recently got rid of my backne and shoulder zits! I was broken out really bad! a little worse than OP!
Anyways I met this chick that use to have bad acne and she gave me great advice that cleared up my issues in about a week!
I went to walmart and bought body wash that helps with acne. its called body wash, body scrub by nutregena. Its not with the body wash section, its with the acne stuff.
Anyways just scrubed my back and shoulders twice a day for a week and it cleared up pretty well. Also Make sure to shower right after a workout so the sweat doesn't clog up your pores on your back!
Umm my shoulders were a trouble area also, so I bought this stuff at walmart in a little tube called terminator. It works well for small areas, so i just applied that to my shoulders before bed!
I wish i had before and after pictures, but seriously OP these worked wonders and ive only had them a little more than a week!
Total was like $10 with a new back brush to really scrub dem zits lol
I would try this before looking into medication with side effects!@PreChewz Sponsored Athlete. The Best Chewable Pre-workout!

You don't need accutane. That #%£# is too dangerous with its side effects. My girlfriend lost a lot of hair too.
Just wash your body regularly with some sort of soap that doesn't open your pores too much. Also don't use a type of shampoo/conditioner that will get into your poors and start acne. As well as avoiding that, wash your affected areas last so that they do not get any other products into the pores. Eventually your acne will become more manageable. You should not be picking your acne but learn to correctly empty your zits when they are ripe enough, otherwise LEAVE THEM ALONE or you will get scaring!
My 2 scents. I've had acne for my duration of childhood and still do on my back, but it's manageable with these steps.

Go and see your doctor about trying doxycycline or accutane. I went on both drugs, with accutane in the end being the most succesful. Doxycycline is an antiobiotic and works for only about 60% of people. Accutane was a wonder drug for me, in one month it cleared everything up 100% and gave me my confidence back, all with minimal side effects.. I did a lot of research on side effects etc before seeing the doctor, and most of the stuff people post online about negative experiences is rendered BS by the fact that they bought their drugs online. NEVER do this, as the purity/quality of the drug isn't monitored. Only take a drug that a doctor prescribes, as they know what is best to suit you. There are plenty of solutions out there, just see your doctor. Good luck!
