2001 jay and 2009 were his best showings. However since his biceps surgery jay has looked very proportionate and extremely healthy all around . I think the time off has really fired jay up again! I hope for a very. Legit comeback! Team Cutler

Back From Construction...
in those 2001 pics he looks really really "hard" as opposed to usually looking "puffier" especially his biceps..his arms are always the least looking conditioned but in those pics ^^ its full retard mode and nobody in todays olympia could be that size and conditioning

It affected Ronnie's placing in 2006.
Spike92 is 15.

Prime Jay(01) is beast mode personified, betters prime Phil. Jay was wiiiide, waist was tiiight, structure was almost X factor, which is hard for Jay as his waist is not narrow, but his width which was epic, made up for it. Jay legs were awesome crazy!!, Phil takes back detail.
Bodybuilding is not weight and repetitions; it’s resistance and absolute muscle failure. It’s not quantitative; it’s qualitative. It’s more mental than physical. It’s more control than rage. It’s the realization that you can always get bigger.

Ronnie had nerve damage on his left side which affected his triceps, not a torn biceps.

Fixed.
Edit: maybe rear lat spread if you're being generous and going with Phil due to his superior detail, but Jay in that kind of shape would probably make him look small due to his width and mass.

jay had a pretty sick showing at the iron man in 2003...i will be rooting for him to do well even though i do not expect him to take the whole show.

Astonished by Kevin! Awesome extra wide lat spread......then I look at his legs comparing'em with Jay's and Ronnie's and I'm like: wtf.

09 jay is over rated, at the time it was just a shock because of how bad he looked the previous 2/3 years and that we'd all wrote him off.
