The video leaves a bit to be desired.
They are supposed to reduce the impact stress by 80%, and tiplle your energy output (compared to running with regular shoes)
So basically if you exert x amount of energy to run 1 mile, with these shoes you go 3 miles with the same amount of energy.. Makes running more fun in my eyes..

I guess good old fashioned running isnt good enough for some people.

It's very fun. I've been doing insanity in them (google "kangoo insanity") and I've lost 18 lbs in 3 weeks.. It's allowed me to do the footwork exercises that used to bother the soles of my feet. All that pounding is the reason people usually get injured and stop exercising. The Kangoo Jumps have been amazing for me, and I swear by them. I know a guy that's 73 in hawaii, and he uses them to run every day. My mom, dad, sister, and her husband use them to exercise. It's also great because they come in 4 sizes (s,m,l,xl). I burned out before I started using Kangoo Jumps
With all the repeated pounding on my joints, I wasn't able to maintain the high intensity training because my knees and ankles couldn't take it. Now that I use Kangoos, I can do every move, jump, and core exercise while burning more calories and getting a better workout overall.
