    in my personal opinion. there is a lot of stuff there you do not need.

    cover basics like whey, creatine, fish oil, vitamins and pre if you need one.

    that is a whole lot of money that could be spent on food.

    Thanks, again like in OP I have the basics (don't have a pre though), and I recently came across a little extra cash and was looking to indulge a bit (just to see how the other half lives =p), and yeah I live with my mom though so she covers groceries (muahahahahaha)

    I was considering the mass-tech as a gainer or the amino fx when I looked at bcaas, but the cost/serving wasn't as great. What were you hoping to find?

    I got love for CL and have Glycergrow. Frankly it lasts almost forever that I'm going on month 8 and it's barely half empty. It's good don't get me wrong, but I have acquired pwo's w/ pump enhancing properties to the point I get lazy at times to use GG. Save your money. Use it on food and the basic necessities. How much calories are you actually getting from whole foods?

    Yes if you still need protein/cals at the end of the day then a whey shake before bed will be just as good, well done taking advantage of the free whey deal that Inner Armour has going on you wont be disappointed.

    You are focusing on the wrong things in life. Getting your macros right beats any sleepy-time shake imaginable. Your body is a wonder of God. It does not start cannibalizing itself overnight.

    Well, my total calorie goal is 3200-3500 variable (that gives me some lee way in terms of unplanned meals and the like); with a macro goal of 45c/35p/20f. I forget which post it is but I told somebody else that my mom actually gets the groceries (I commute to school, so I save money living with her) so I go with her to assist in getting clean food (she doesn't always but I usually always have the basic staples in my house- ground beef or turkey, bread, pb, oats, broccoli, rice, pasta, olive oil, chicken breasts, etc.). So from whole foods I usually get about 2/3-all of my calories from (when I have my 1000 calorie gainer is when 1/3 comes from supps).

    Well regardless of your religious predisposition, your body will start to consume itself not overnight, but still it will. And yes, that is true I do get my macros what I was originally thinking was using a nighttime shake to help close out my goals (and I usually work out in the evening as well so I need extra protein at night).

    Alright so as it stands right now:

    What I'm sure on:

    Have you looked into carb powders like Now Carbogain? Granted it's maltodextrin, but at you're age(assuming you have a high metabolism) it wouldn't matter if you have a slight calorie surplus. I only got Anabolic Peak because my pwo that I was logging had a side effect of being an appetite suppressant and it was affecting my bulk.

    It's hilarious that you mention that because in the next tab I had NOW Carbogain and ON Glyco-maize up, lol. I was thinking of getting a carbo powder since the mass peak only has 600 calories so I was going to get carbo powders to up my carb intake and add to the MP or orange juice 1 hour pre-workout.

    So yes, I have lol, I am choosing between the two since Carbogain is malto and Glyco-maize is waxy maize and is the same number of servings for cheaper (but the serving has 10 grams less carbs but whatever).

    I recommend:

    Vitamin: Controlled Labs - Orange Triad, Gaspari - Anavite, Optimum - Opti-Men, or Universal - Animal Pak.
    Protein: Controlled Labs - PROnom 23, Dymatize - Elite XT, and Optimum - Gold Standard are my favorites, although the only thing that matters here is personal taste.
    Pre-workout: Driven Sports - Craze. Controlled Labs - White Flood if you don't want stims.
    BCAA: USP Labs - Modern BCAA.
    Creatine: Controlled Labs - Green MAG.

    You really don't need anything else. Having a pre-workout or BCAAs at all is a matter of personal opinion and how many duckets you're sitting on. Train heavy, hit your macros., and sleep lots.

    Thank you, but I already have a multi-vite, and am getting just bulk creatine, the reason I'm getting the IA Nitro Peak is because they have a buy any IA product get 1 lb of Nitro Peak (whey) for free, so with my cart I would be getting 2 free lbs, so 6.4 lbs together. Also with gainer; the pre- I chose because it has a good profile (Magnum Opus I'd recommend looking it up) and it has a bogo deal going on so 96 servings for $35; and the reason I'm contemplating the AI RecoverPro is that it has 4 grams leucine (the most "anabolic" of the bcaas), to 1:1 isoleucine/valine, and is 125 servings for $48.

    Take advantage of the deals - fo' sho' - Buy one get ones and Buy 2 get ones. All the products you list are good standup products and good companies. I've been wanting to try Opus, but have yet to do.

    One the not so sure stuff - Glycobol can help, but is far beyond your base. Build your base first - vites, cals, sleep, workout. Glycobol is good for mass gaining - but use it after you hit a sticking point. I really don't know anything about GlycerGrow, but anything 'grow' sounds good if size is what you're after.

    Since you have a little $$, grab the BCAAs first, and some casein. When I can get BCAAs - I mix in 8oz Gatorade (G2) and 8oz water for intraworkout. It really helps me get through some sets.

    Well, glycergrow is basically glycerol monostearate which is a glycerol binded with stearic acid, it basically pulls water out of the interstitial fluid into the area surrounding muscles to superhydrate them. It gives you giant pumps, which help with nutrient transfer and post-workout nutrient absorption. The product gives you 120 servings (like 1 serving per training day not multiple servings per day) for $30.

    About the casein, I was initially interested in it but polgas convinced me away from it. Because milk is 80% casein and 20% whey so if you mix the whey with milk before bed you are getting some casein as well (and I could get better deals getting whey, since using IA deals I can get 6 lbs of whey (1 free with 4 lb and 1 free with Mass Peak)).

    I have the basics, and I am getting ready to start my bulk on the 27th for the Dymatize Challenge.

    And I was thinking the bcaas more to mix up and drink all day to keep protein up between meals, but I'm not sure (I like the 125 servings for $48 for RecoverPro)

    It's cheaper if you buy 3 1 lb bags of Nitro-Peak (6 lbs for $38.91) instead of 1 4.4 lb tub (5.4 lbs for $39.94).

    That's true, but I'm getting CnC Mass Peak so I get a free lb there, and if you do it that way you can only get chocolate. I figured since its only 10 servings difference I would try some choco pb and get the two free lbs. I might do it that way, I just was wanting to be a little creative and I've heard that choco pb is delicious.

    Good idea, have some cottage cheese and a protein shake....that's sounds great. Haven't had cottage cheese in awhile, I forget whether I like it but I can figure that out. Could you mix whey powder in cottage cheese to make pseudo sludge? And yeah, I am trying to find a good wms product, I want to get Dymatize Flud since it's 60 30g servings for $15 and I could get 2, but it's on backorder so I might get NOW WMS.

    Not a big cottage cheese fan myself, I wish I was.. cuz it is good stuff (protein wise). I use to blend it up in my shakes though, that helps to get it down... I hate the consistency of it.. and the chunks... brb puke...
