They only have 6 dates listed so far (Jan 25th - Mar. 8th) but the series finale is slated for April 12th. That would mean that there are probably 4 or 5 more eps that haven't been dated yet which would bring the whole season to 10 or 11 eps which would be consistent with what they've done before.

WAY too much has to happen for them to trim it to 6 eps.

I dunno... I really enjoyed all of the politicking and scheming that went on between the Romans (and Ashur too).

THAT's what sold me on S2 more than anything else.

S1 had Battiatus though.... that makes it epic in itself.

Started watching season 1 again...miss Andy, was a great actor, i do wish they (for obvious reasons they didnt, hence the gods of the arena) stretched the time in the lutus and arena out for another 1-2 series, loved the action sequences there, but still, its a great great show.

This show is the only reason I got Starz. When I first started watching I thought the amount of blood splatter was over the top, but everything else was good and I got hooked. Perfect balance of violence and nudity. This season seems like it may have a bigger budget. I made my woman watch all the other seasons to catch her up, now she is looking forward to it too.

They didn't really show it but I think it's safe to say she did. Then again I thought the same of Lucretia when she got stabbed.
