Steaks are my favorite. Good quality ones, not the cheapo steaks. But I'll eat those too.
Chicken is a close 2nd. I eat it ALOT more chicken throughout the week than I do steak, but steak is still by far my favorite.
As for recipes that contains beef/chicken?... Way too many to list, But the simplest is probably pita bread or a flour tortilla wrapping a bunch of chop grilled chicken breast or beef. Mixed with lettuce etc and maybe some tzatziki.
And of course a big protein milkshake (skim milk) with some N.O.XPlode to give it some BAM ha!

If I'm going to eat a peanut butter cup, it will be a real one!

Chicken. Easy to cook. Fast. Cheap. Can do a lot with it.

The Cut Is On
Filet, delmonico, ney york strip, rib eye, porter house, prime rib
All the good cuts and cooked somewhere between medium rare / medium. If I want something quicker depending on the time of day I will scramble up eggs, throw in some ham and cheese with it.

That must be a hard status to maintain with those green eyes.
Egg whites are pure protein.

One of my favotite things about living on the mainland of the United States is the abundance of everything, especially food.

My horror novel, Wolf Hunter (written under my pen name, J.L. Benet), is now available from Belfire Press. For those who like your werewolves served with a side of bloody gore (as opposed to sparkle-fairies and ennui), this is the novel for you.

I prefer pork chops. Very lean, tastes great. I like beef steak and chicken and tuna and eggs, too. Had a lot of horsemeat growing up, but they made it illegal in the US in the 70's.

Organic Greek yogurt. Love to get Trader Joe's Vanilla Bean and mix it with fresh pomegranate seeds or blueberries.

For an extra boost of protein in my daily diet (without adding an extra steak or two to my day as some of you seem to suggest!), I drink a large glass or two of milk with my meals, and/or add cottage cheese to my lunch or dinner plate. I also sometimes have a serving or two of Greek yogurt between meals, or before bed.
I actually don't care for steak (I know, I know), so my animal protein is usually fish, chicken, or ground turkey.

Isn't there a rule that if it has a bone you can pick it up and eat with face. It's the only way to get at the good stuff around the bone anyway. I always buy the New York with the bone in for this reason.

Have you tried quinoa? It's a small yellow or red seed which is a complete source of protein. It's sold as a grain, but is really a seed. It's the only plant source that gives you complete protein without the need to pair it with anything else. It's got a mild flavor and mixes well with meat, vegetables, or fish.
Quinoa is my top favorite protein source.
Fish is my second favorite protein source. Sardines, whether fresh or canned are sustainable and don't have a lot of heavy metals like the big fish such as tuna.
Poultry over red meat, but I wouldn't turn down a nice juicy steak either.
Hope I gave you some ideas.

My favorite is steak, but too much fat and too costly to consume on daily basis. Grilled chicken is a healthier alternative and saves on fat calories. My most convenient protein source is hard boiled eggs.
