You ask how to get stronger, but then say you are getting stronger. You say you are on Starting Strength but then say you are prepared to switch from a bbing routine to a pling routing. I r confused.

Lifts havnt gone up as much as you want? Im sorry you cant have an 1800 total in 3 months. Keep eating/lifting.
Dont do Cube Method, its not a begginner program.
Starting strength is more of a powerlifting program then a bb'ing one anyway.
Keep doing starting strength.
Did I mention eating?

Stay on your program and eat more. You keep asking what to do...How many people will it take to respond with "eat more" to convince you? You should be deloading regularly as well.
I see all these people searching for the secret to gain muscle/get stronger. There are two secrets actually; going to the gym and eating.
Post injury squat 315x6 w/ 116lbs of bands (belt/wraps)
Gym bench 405 (singly ply)

This thread really made me want to physically harm the OP.
BRB
Your bench and squat more than doubled in 5 months (sweet newb gains) and you gained a good amount of weight on your deadlift and you did it @ 135lbs. You should be glad you gained that much considering how small you are.

What!? Eat more man! If you want big muscles while staying light then go into bodybuilding. At 5'7 you should be around 150-160lbs for powerlifting. Deloading means dropping the weight around 10% and working your way back up. This is how you're supposed to get past your plateau. Chances are though it's because you don't eat much.

150-160lbs @ 5'7? That's asking to get manhandled by guys that are <5'5. He should easily be in the 198's or 220's if he doesn't want to cut.

Today I learned that I'm fifty pounds overweight for powerlifting.

I'd have to lose quite a bit of muscle to comply with bruce44's standards

Really? Wow I guess I don't have to lose 100lbs just 60lbs then I'll be 210.

You don't need to lose any weight, you just need to get strong.

Haha sorry I was going off of doctors BMI chart. At 5'7 I'm supposed to be 140lbs. I gave him an extra 20lbs for muscle. But then again those BMI charts are so inaccurate. It's good to hear that I'm not too far off from being at ideal powerlifting weight though.
