After I got fat and anti-social, people stopped being friends with me, people started thinking I was a creepy guy. On my senior year of high school, someone legit asked me if everything was ok and asked me to spare him if I was going to "do something". The truth is everything was not ok, but I wasn't going to lash out at anyone. I had a few friends outside of school that treated me like the same old guy I always was.
But for some reason this carries over to the internet too. It hurts me when miscers think I have a "rape dungeon", or that they wouldn't keep their children around me, or that I look like a serial killer. I am not a violent person. Never understood why I deserve such labels.

Well, I imagine the fact that you look like a fat, bespectacled Aragorn, and your name is BURROWED-LURKER................ Doesn't help.
But srs, stick with the diet and lifting, you'll start losing weight real fast since you're so big, shave that disgusting ****ing beard and get a proper haircut (some pomade to style maybe) consider contacts, etc, etc-added display pic and crew to fit in crew

Most people who are very introverted and aren't shy usually don't care much how people view them - people drain their energy, they just want to go off on their own and do their thing. I'm guessing, therefore, that you are more naturally on the extroverted side and may have become shy due to your situation.
The answer is simple. You are focusing on the past when your life is going to be happening in the future. Get in shape, focus on school/your career, friends will come once you start feeling confident again. The reason people are antagonistic to those who are out-of-shape, don't fit in, etc. is because they sense weakness. It gives them an opportunity to feel dominate and they don't want to associate with said weakness. Doesn't matter the gender, the same basic rule applies. They won't feel bad about making fun of you because they don't see you as fully human like they do their friends, parents, etc. Its the way of the world. So your best option is get yourself together and work on being more outgoing, in shape, better goals/less awkward social behavior.

Bro after putting up with abuse by a drunk, all I wanted to be was alone. So I stopped socializing and being a happy person for a while. As a result I got awkward.
But no one wants to socialize with someone who doesn't know how to be fun and social now, and that makes me furious, depressed, and betrayed.
