Thanks for having me here.
I'm 30 years old weigh 220 5'11
I'm returning to the military after six years and gained allot of weight currently I've lost some start weight was 233 I really let myself go. Just two months ago I was 200 lbs and rapidly gained weight from drinking soda and eating allot of carbs and fat foods such as pork. Since Jan 1 I started to have a better diet and eat salads and lean meats. No rice, rice is very popular here in Puerto Rico.
I do eat beans and chicken water and I'm losing weight.
My exercise is basically the ski machine in the gym and some free weights some times. I stay on the machine one hour and It says I burn up 600 calories. Total time in gym 130 mins. I've read for faster better results I should stay in there for up to 4 hours.
I NEED to leave by March don't know if it's realistic to lose 27 pounds from now to March but I have o say I've seen it done with good diet and allot exercise but this guys were 20.
Just want to see what advice and help anyone can give.
Thanks

27 pounds in 6 weeks is over 4 pounds a week. That's completely unrealistic. At almost 200 and under 6 feet tall that's still gonna leave you pretty overweight.
Good luck with your goals, but I think you need to work on setting more realistic timelines. I'd count on 27 pounds taking you 3-4 full months assuming you do everything perfectly (keep in mind that even them nobody is perfect).
