Have you ever gotten a heart rate monitor? I'm not sure exactly what you're using, but if it functions like a heart rate monitor, I think that is about as accurate as you're going to get without being in some lab.
But I can usually burn like 100 calories per ten minutes and I only walk (albeit, quickly). Depending how fast paced your workouts are, I could see you hitting 800 calories for weights & cardio.

It does track sleep, and I plan to use it tonight.
I have used a heart rate monitor, but it didn't calculate calorie burn. This estimate is probably close to what the machines say I'm burning, I've just never believed those numbers (seem high).

So my 16 yr.old comes downstairs yesterday to tell me that his jeans don't fit and he needs new jeans. I ask him if they are too short and he says no. So I say, you are not 8 yrs. old anymore, cut back on the snacks and get back into those jeans. Apparently, that was not what he wanted to hear.

Sounds like my 15 year old nephew. Very little muscle tone and weak. Spends his free time playing that RoBlox game. He talks about nothing but that game and WWE.
His 10 year old brother already picks on him. He can probably pick him up. He likes to show off by picking up one of my 25lb plates with both hands.

yeah, he's a gamer and not very athletic. And he loves to eat.
The jeans were fairly new, he is just getting heavier in the waist. He is 5'10" and weighs about 170-175. We are not naturally thin people and he just needs to realize that we have to work at being fit and trim (no dog food)."It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others"

Also, in unrelated news, I made a giant 4x8 whiteboard for my office for under 30 bucks. It looks great, and saved me several hundred bucks. Now I can unleash my beautiful mind.
