Dear Michigan Drivers

We are in the middle of a nasty storm with periods of blizzard-like conditions and heavy fog. This storm started yesterday afternoon, continuing throughout yesterday evening's and this morning's commute. During the month of February, these times are typically low light conditions due to the shortening of days in the winter. As such, so that other people can ****ing see you on the road, turn your damn lights on.

Think of it this way, if the government is actively borrowing 1.whatever trillion dollars to bring back into the economy... do you think the currency has serious pressure toward inflation? Nope. Inflation is an issue of giving up more of your excess currency in exchange for something more secure. Like a clearance sale at a store.

China in particular buys up a big chunk of US debt and hordes dollars in order to depreciate its currency and boost exports.

A country with ridiculous hyperinflation like Venezuela has like 30% inflation because no one wants to hold the currency. People exchange it into dollars whenever possible. So they bid up the price of dollars and that drives down the value of the local currency.

Am I doing it right?

First of all, that is way too many fire extinguishers. No one needs that many fire extinguishers... 1 is enough.

Then we have the two high capacity fire extinguishers on the left. No private citizen needs that much fire suppression. If the standard size isn't enough, the fire department will be there in 5-10 minutes to save what is left of your home.

The two on the left also have hoses, making it easier to direct its fire suppression abilities. I feel like that's not really necessary so we should get rid of those too.

The tall white one looks like it has an ergonomic handle on it, which should obviously be banned. Comfort has no place in fighting a fire.

The small one could concealed on your person, I don't feel safe knowing you could be carrying that around in public. Ban it.

The gray one would be easier to hide and doesn't stand out as much as the red ones, so we're going to have to ban that one too.

So yeah, I'm going to have to ask you to please turn those in to your nearest fire station.

We're going to let you keep the regular sized red one, but you're going to have to register it and we will be conducting unannounced quarterly inspections.

A couple people including Dom had a made a couple of comments, and I tossed one in as a dig to Farley based on another discussion. Nobody was trying to sway your decision or present any argument on the subject but you, as usual, have to whine about the topic ever coming up.

If a few people have occasional opinions on the subject, just let them speak. After all, it is a discussion which is taking place in this country every day and so will naturally come up from time to time.
