I got made and swore at McDonald's employees today.

I am fairly certain that is the first time in my life I ever swore at any employee anywhere for any reason. I wasn't yelling, or raising my voice, but I was clearly unhappy.

We went to the pediatrician's office this morning, she got her first shot, then stopped at McDonald's on the way home. Baby had been crying on and off but went to sleep before we made the decision and pulled into the drive through. Well, as we left and she started crying we opened the bag and it was somebody else's order...and I'm not eating McDonald's fish, sorry.

Went back, she was crying more, stopped to let my wife out to go in so I could drive loops around their/the grocery store parking lot, baby seems to prefer that. Well, baby was not happy. Really not happy. Every time I went around I could see my wife still standing at the counter. After what seemed like more than long baby sounded like she was choking on her own saliva after being spitting mad for so long so I stopped in the parking lot and pulled the seat into the front (rear facing couldn't see her this whole time) and she had so much damn spit you'd think she had had a full blown seizure (lying fairly flat in car seat doesn't help) plus she was so mad her face was going from red to purple. So I got her cleaned off and settled down a little bit and STILL nothing from McDonalds. And she was starting to get worked back up.

By the time I locked the seat back in, locked the car up, and went inside to see my wife standing there watching three of them cluster fukking the sh.it out of the order I told them we needed our order or a refund within the next 30 seconds, babbled something about crying baby in the car, they were just finishing and handed my wife the new entrees but we were supposed to keep the old fries that were by now cold, which we did because we weren't waiting any longer for them to stop fukking up, and I was just so over fukking McDonalds.




Cliffs: McDonald's was re-fukking-diculous, and I told them as much. And the fries sucked, which is really all that matters amiright?

I'd say it depends on the race/ethnicity of the person(s) targeted combined with how the media spins it/what the media tells them they should think.

"The media" isn't a unilateral entity. Nor is it irrelevant.

Ignoring it doesn't make you any better nor does it make someone who is involved "sheep."

You portray a basic understanding of anything outside your own interests.

Claiming there is a large media conspiracy against you is a nice feel-good crutch to fall back on for the failings of the political forces involved in the issues you're interested in.

Not to mention it will almost always get you the "amen!" from the crowd that aren't (or don't care to be) well informed with the daily grind of both what runs the country, and how it runs.

Yes, I edited it because I don't want you, or anybody else, to use the "you are just trying to frame the argument to your advantage" as an excuse to avoid discussion. So I am not asking you to agree to disagree with something specific. I am creating a hypothesis and asking if you are willing to discuss it.
