I think he tossed it up because of the pressure coming. Quick slant route audible woulda been a good idea. I am disappointed the niners came out so flat, if it wasn't for the power outage halting the momentum that game would have been a blowout, so thanks to the football gods for that. Either way, turned into a fun game even if I didn't get the outcome I wanted.

The Niners were moving the ball almost at will before the blackout. I don't buy the whole blackout turned the game around bs.

EDIT: Also re-momentum, may be true that SF was moving the ball but they weren't scoring, and bmore stopped scoring, after the power. So yeah, momentum shifted.

It's impossible to prove that this is solely because of the power outage. It's more likely that it was because of the halftime adjustments a very good coach made. Or maybe because of a voodoo doll someone in the stands had, or even a bud light label held the wrong way.
