I guarantee you you won't think it's scary the first time you grab the barrel after you ripped off 30 rounds. It's something you'll only do once. It's even worse on an M16.
Oh, absolutely, I've BTDT. Most recently I went through a rapid fire 40 round AQT with my Garand and then attempted to adjust the sling...resting the barrel against my bare arm to stabilize it. That happened shortly after my avi pic was taken, actually.

Doesn't it take 10-14 days for ketosis to kick in?
More like 3-4.
After 10-14 days though your body is pretty well adjusted to it and you can reintroduce some carbs and continue to lose weight (different for everyone of course).
General thoughts... drink plenty of water, take a multi, eat plenty of fat, and if you want a cocktail that's cool but diet mixer and no beer/wine.

First time ever, it could take that long yes. If you've done it before, much quicker.

A drink or two is fine, don't pull an A2M or Chazzy and get wasted!

Somebody has "meatp0under442" as the first line of their e-mail address in one of my classes.
I couldn't believe my eyes. It's an e-mail list the teacher and everyone else can clearly see.
One which we'll have to communicate with each other throughout the semester.
At this juncture, I cannot:
A) Figure out if he/she did this through a shocking deficit of self-awareness/sense of conduct, or just sheer balls/guts.
B) Wait to correspond with this person while making sure I refer to him/her as "meatp0under442" as many time as I can within my prose; and not his/her real name.
C) Lie. You other brothers can't deny. When a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get sprung.

442 is a model of handgun manufactured by Smith and Wesson. It is a 5 shot snub nose .38spl+P chambered revolver

Regardless of what "442" might signify, the truth is that most people aren't going to see the 442 behind "meatpounder" and immediately go "oh, that's totally normal".
They're going to go, "oh, what the fuuuuuuuuuuck?"
I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see.
I glued a 4x8 tile board and a 4x8 cheap paneling together with liquid nails, so it is more sturdy than tile board alone. Then I used dry wall screws to hang the board on the wall. I put screw white cap covers on the screws. The whole thing looks solid and way better than the smaller and more expensive boards we've been buying for the office.
Actually is pretty awesome, IMO. It makes me want to try that out. Possibly at my house. Would be good for parties, since drunk people like to mark on sh*t. Might save some passed out people (probably not, but I can say I put it up with good intentions).

lol I've had so many mishaps with rifles it isn't even funny. The one I remember "most fondly" with the m16 was on the range one time in basic. The last time I cleaned my rifle, I used an excess of CLP (if a little helpd the rifle work great, a lot must be even better, right??). Yeah.. apparently as the rifle heats up, that stuff starts cooking off and smoking. My eyes were tearing up, I was doing all I could to keep focus on the targets while it looked like I snuck (yes, I know) a pack of matches onto the range. My drill sergeant laughed at me once it became clear what I did as it seems to always be a few trainees who make the same mistake every cycle.

I hope it blows over, but it seems like almost every time these types of allegations are thrown around, the people involved usually aren't innocent
The thing that annoys me is that these guys never failed a drug test. Why do people (media mostly) have to dig into things? To try to keep integrity in the game? That's a joke. Make an example of the guys who get caught? Yeah, because only a fraction of pro sports players use PEDs. Right.

Most of the drug tests used by pro sports seem to be woefully inadequate. These things are story worthy, as evidenced by the fact that we're discussing it here. I agree that it's terribly difficult to catch everyone breaking the rules, but I do think they should be attempting to. They can't just turn a blind eye.

They either have to say, go nuts, and use whatever PEDs you want, or extremely tighten their drug testing policies to catch everyone that does it. I agree, you can't catch everyone, but the ineptness of the testing is hilarious, especially now after the whole Mitchell Report stuff.
Edit:
I think it starts at the top too. Owners, GM's and coaches all probably have an idea who's doing it, and who isn't. Show some accountability and do something about it. They won't, because it's all about the bottom line for the owners, and winning, thus keeping your job for the GM and coaches.
