Day 8: LEGS!!! BUHHAHAHAHAHAHA ( evil genius laugh)
Alright so I didnt think I was going to get to go to the gym today, we got a bunch of freezing rain here in TN (First time I've ever seen it) and didnt know how bad the roads were gona be....WELL They werent bad at all so I hit they gym. I drank my hema/compete a little early today ( about an 1.5 hrs before lifting) that way I would upset my stomach. I think this is the perfect time for me to drink it since I had great energy levels and pumps ( more so than usual) today. More bad news for james??? what?? SO I hit the gym around 4:30...All's well, Warming up on leg ext trying to get a pump......The manager of the gym tells us its closing at 6 due to freezing temps and icy conditions.....So I had to rush through leg day ( which was ok since I was feeling like a monster anyway).
Workout for today: LEGS!!!
Warm up.
Inverted leg press Supersetted with BB walking lunges (20reps) between every set (115lbs)-400x12/600x12/800x8/1090x6 ( threw up after this set)
*at this point I was feeling pretty drained that superset was BRUTAL.
Back squats:135x5/185x8/225x5
Leg ext suppersetted with partial machine squats (160lbsx15)-80x15/100x15/120x15 not sure if the numbers are right?? A guy told me thats how much it weighed BUUUTTT he also looked like on jeremy so who knows.
MEAN PUMP today, I lifted pretty heavy and in a very short amount of time which im not used too, It only took me about and hour and 10 mins with the ten minutes being the warmup. This stack really shined today for me because I really dont know if I could of put up that much weight and pushed as hard as I did ( i know bitch weight on squats and lunges). Right now I still feel like I have to puke and I can barely walk so GREAT workout haha.

Day 11: chest.
Im having the most bipolar workouts haha. I felt AMAZING yesterday but today I was sore and it was rough getting a pump. Dont get me wrong it was a good workout but I needed longer rest between sets and I still didnt get all the reps I wanted so I lowered my sets and reps and upped the volume a little bit ( which Is one reason I love compete so much...YOU KEEP GOING). I've noticed that I have to chug half the bottle of my hema/compete then refill it with water just because its so sweet, Some people might love it but Im not too big on sweet stuff while im lifting haha.
Workout for today: chest
warm up.
Incline BB-195x12/215x9/215x7
Flat BB-235x12/235x8/215x8 (drop weight) 195x7 (drop again) 145x17

Low cable crossovers-30x25/60x10
Incline machine-90x10/115x10/75x15
Pushups-2xfailure
8 sets of donkey calf raises.
OH YEA I almost forgot me and my fiance had to drop a bio class ( dont know if I mentioned this up there or not) but we needed another credit hour to be full time so we signed up for vollyball ( she was all district and the most experience I have is throwing the ball to her haha) and today was my first day of that class. I SUCK, I mean dont get me wrong I wasn't horrible but man Thats a hard ass sport, New respect for volleyball haha. Next semester im just going to take weight lifting or tennis ( I suck at tennis too but hey why not broaden my horizons.)

It was either volleyball, golf, or tennis.....I wanted golf just cause I thought it would be fun to see how far I could smash a ball but I dont have clubs nor do I want to pay that much for them so I was like SCREW THAT.
So Im in the beginner class for VB and the first day we have to scrimmage.....First time on a court taking the game serious and I have to play other people...What did I learn from this?? A: I can jump REALLY HIGH and B:I should not try to serve the ball as hard as humanly possible....A 5 foot asian kicked my ass hahahaha.

Day 12: ARMS
Just got back from a rest day and felt amazing. Good and carbed up for arms so needless to say I got a great pump. Now lately its been really hard to get a decent pump/mind muscle connection in my bi's ( I know, I know WHATS WRONG WITH ME!?!?!?!) but since I've started using hema/compete I literally cant stretch my arms all the way down when I get done with a set I LOVE IT.
Workout for today:ARMS
Warm up.
Close grip bench-135x15/185x12/225x8/135x10 (Pause at chest to stop momentum on last set)
Underhand cable pressdowns-20x15/30x12/35x10 If you guys havent tried these DO THEM!!!

Cable BB curl: Not sure of weight but it is by far my fav lift for bis.
1 arm behind the back cable curls-40x15/50x14/60x28 The weight HAS to be off on this machine 60 felt VERY light.
Preacher machine:90x8/135x8/75xf
Very good pump and had vascularity EVERYWHERE!!! All around great workout.

Day 13: LEGS AHHHHH YEAAAA!!!
Alright so I was pumped all day to get in the gym to kill some legs. I started drinking my hema/compete about an hour before ( OH YEA I added an extra scoop of hema so 2 scoops today) and finished it about 20 mins before hitting the gym. I didnt eat too much today and it really showed in some of my lifts but I got such a huge pump that I couldn't get up from the leg press for a good 5-10 mins. Oh yea, the lack of food plus intense leg workout= james dry heaving after sets of squats.
Workout for today: LEGS
warm up. ( 8 sets of leg ext to get the biggest pump possible)
Leg press:400x15/580x15/670x15/760x19
Iso BB lunges-95x8 ( each leg)/135x25 ( each leg) Now heres where stuff started getting serious. At this point leg day wasn't all fun and games anymore.
Back squats-225x11 ( dry heave),275x7( dry heave),135 (front squats) x3 The pump was crazy by this point.
Leg curls-not sure of weight but 3 sets of drop sets.
Glute ham raises-3 sets of 6 reps.....People really dont know what to do when I do these. A trainer came over to me today and told me I was doing the hyperext. wrong and when I explained to him what I was doing he looked at me like I was stupid.
Now remember this is the same PT who was squatting on a BOLSA BALL to get more core activation.
Oh I am down another 2lbs as well.
Im not sure if anyone eats Ramen noodles?? but I've noticed out of all the complex carbs (sweet potatoes, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, etc) that Ramen noodles really fill me out ( not looking flat), I only eat 1 packet a day since it has a huge amount of sodium but I just thought this was a funny observation..Probably since it turns to glucose easier. EH just ranting now haha. STAY PUMPED PEOPLE!!!

Day 14: BACK!!
Alright so today was supposed to be shoulders but my workout partner switched up at the last second, which is great for me since back is my favorite day. I really killed it today and I got to workout in a fasted state ( which I prefer to having eaten before hand). The pumps were great and I murdered my lats.
Workout for today: Back.
Warm up.
5 sets of pullupsx20 super set with 135lb underhand BB rows.
Iso machine rows:90x15/135x15/180x8 ( each hand)
BB rows ( overhand yates rows)-185x8/225x8/245x8
Lat pulls-(neutral grip)160x15/180x12/(wide grip)160x12/140x20/(underhand)120x15/80x8 (MONSTER PUMPS)
1 arm BB rows-25x8/75x8/125x6
Bodyweight rows-2xfailure.
If you guys have never tried 1 handed BB rows then you need to give it a try. recently read an article written by john meadows( or medows not sure haha) and it had these in there so I gave them a try today. They pumped my lower lats up like crazy, the only downside is that I would do them more towards the front end of a workout since they have a good deal of stabilization involved.
