    yeah my max is kinda weak though i think you could hit 275 if you rep 225 for a good 8 reps (full ROM, at tempo) i havent maxed in about 6 months though... post up what it is when you find out. (assuming you try)

    This has always been very accurate for me, and everyone else I've seen. You should be able to do about 275-280.

    x2. Those calculators are very rough estimates. The best way to know is to try.
    Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

    You are more then likely very close. With that said, unless you do max rep workouts once in awhile, it will more then likely be lower. I have known lifters that could do 8 reps with 260, yet the first time they try max, it is closer to 285#. But 250x8 should give about a 310# max. It all depends on what your mind and body is acustom to.

    here's a lil equation I found on the web: start with your max num of reps at 225, yours is 8, multiply by 6.81 which gives u 54.48, then u add 221.8 then u have 276.28 which is roughly ur 1rm. of course this calculation is said to only be effective for males weighing between 190 and 215... works for me... hope this helps out...

    You can train for a higher 1RM without increasing endurance in the lower weight ranges. You can also rep out 225 every day and not have a very high 1RM. These are two different types of training and I don't think you guys should really compare them to each other.
