I'm really confused. Different threads tell me different things.
For post workout, I usually drink scoop of ON Gold Standard 100% Whey. I just don't know if I should drink right after or around 30mins after I workout. This Protein window confuses me a lot.

The Primary Laws of Nutrient Timing
The First Law of Nutrient Timing is: hitting your daily macronutrient targets is FAR more important than nutrient timing.
The Second Law of Nutrient Timing is: hitting your daily macronutrient targets is FAR more important than nutrient timing. as per AA.
you will have no benefit in having a protein shake in regards to muscle growth than by having that shake 8 -16 even up to 24 hours later.
protein shakes have no benefit over whole foods at all. whole foods are the more supreme.
there is no need to eat ANYTHING directly after a workout. eating 20 hours later would yield the same results provided macros are met, you remain anabolic for 24 hours at least after a workout.
in concluding, protein shakes are a complete waste of money, it's so funny watching people at the gym rush to their bag and get their shake out, and drink it before they leave the gym, thinking it is beneficial.
read the stickies, you will learn a lot about nutrition, and hence information you read in bodybuilding magazines are 99.9% untrue.
