You clearly have no idea what is going on with the character, Squall wants to be alone because he doesn't want to get attached to someone and then suffer the pain of losing them. It has nothing to do with him wanting to suffer alone so that others don't suffer. Meanwhile, Cloud for most of the game thought he was Zack and then spent the rest moping and blaming himself for people dying.

I do, but again, I didn't choose Cloud either.

I chose Zidane Tribal.

Why not juxtapose that guy with Cloud and Squall.

Man this all goes a lot deeper than just playing the game to many people. I've stumbled upon entire websites dedicated to characters and storylines in final fantasy games. There was even a site with almost a short story explaining a theory about FF8 that Squall died after he was impaled by the ice spear of Edea early on in the game. And the rest of the game was a dream type state.

This is srs bidness. Nothing wrong with correctly analyzing characters for who they were supposed to be.

Probably Zidane from FFIX - really enjoyed him and Tantalus and his general arc throughout the game.
Steiner was pretty lolsy too.

I did have a fondness for Barret and sort...of....Tidus too.

BRB you don't know about Dissidia

Which is a badass game btw, even if it isn't a true fighting game. I LOVE playing Dissidia on Ad Hoc Party and playing against other people. I'm pretty fukcing good too. Use to play in the online tournaments. (Dat nerd time)

On a serious note I enjoy FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10 and I respect anyone who also enjoys these titles.

FF10-2 was uncalled for and stupid, I played FF11 and enjoyed it but it doesn't count, FF12 was forgettable and didn't feel like a FF game, FF13 is a horrendous piece of shiit and for some reason they are trying to force it down our throats with unwanted sequels.

I liked ffx-2 once the girl power died down. nice main story, had some feels, the non- pop soundtrack songs were great, and it probably had the best job system of any ff

The Battle System was awesome, but the Charlie's Angels thing was annoying. Also that the people of Spira were seemingly ungrateful to Yuna for saving them, well at least compared to how grateful they were to her for being on the pilgrimage in FFX. It just came off as quick cash in.....also I'm missing 0.01% somewhere and had to Youtube the Good Ending.

Tellah sacrificed himself by casting Meteor. The twins saved the party by turning themselves into stone. Do you even Final Fantasy 4?
