Hey everybody, i began to lift around 16 months ago when i was diagnosed with type one diabetes. When i was diagnosed, the doctor told me that diabetes would prevent me from doing certain things. This really motivated me and i began my journey. As i developed my passion for lifting and nutrition, i figured out that one of my goals is to compete and get as far as i possibly can. Any advice or comments are welcome. Thanks everybody

Kick ass Job and Props to Ya... My Daughter is 12 and Type one since June 2011, She Also has done the same as You (different goals of course) She Now see's a Sports trainer and is Digging in Her Quest for a College ride through Volleyball.. Glad to see there are some out there defying the odds... Keep on Hammering Buddy !!!!!!

My back workout consists of two different days during the week. On one day ill do Back power and the other ill do back hypertrophy:
Back Power:
Barbell rows: 4 sets 5 reps
Weighted Pullups: 2 sets 6-10 reps
T Bar rows: 3 sets: 8-12
Seated rows 2sets 8-12
Close grip pulldowns: 2 sets 8-12
Back Hyp:
Barbell rows: 6 sets 3 reps 65-70 percent of 3-5 rep max
weighted pullups: 8-12 reps
T bar rows: 3 sets 12-15 reps
seated rows: 2 sets 12-15 reps
Close grip pulldowns: 2 sets 15-20 reps
