    Rapid weight fluctuation

Okay so taking water out of the equation because I always drink a lot of water, I saw an 8 pound decrease after 1 day of not eating properly due to depression and stuff. What I wanted to know was what does that mean losing 8 pounds out of thin air. I had one hell of a workout so my gut is telling me I need to feed it constantly for at least 2-3 days after a workout and that I have a fast metabolism. Is this correct or is it normal after a 20 rep squat workout for your body to need growing for more than 1-2 days?

Nope. A dramatic decrease in calories or carbohydrates will result in water weight loss. When you eat back normal you will gain it back.

Depends what you mean by big. For simplicity sake I recommend eating the same amount everyday.

This is why I think the best way to track your weight is to weigh your self every day then take the average after 7 days. Compare your averages week to week. This blunts the pain of daily weight fluctuations. Try it.

When you are not eating right you are not getting your protein in and without carbs you are not drinking as much water and are not retaining as much. It is mostly water weight. A couple days of eating right and drinking more water you should gain it back no problem
