    Starting Strength No bench press

    So my bench broke, I was wondering what you guys think of using power cleans and other things instead.

    Whatever, its not ideal, but if you can't bench for a few weeks, just don't bench...do all the rest and skip bench. Do push-ups instead I guess...but its just a temporary solution.

    If you're planning on getting a gym membership anyway, why not just do it now? Money issue or something? I really have no idea how much they cost since I've always just used my university gym in college and now the base gym in the Air Force.

    Money issues, anyways I've been doing back squats front squats press power cleans and pull ups. I figure I can supplement quite a few things instead of the bench press. I know I need to do deadlifts for sure next workout. I figure I'll supplement the bent-over row for the bench press for now and maybe the floor press If I feel like it.
