hey!
only new to bodybuilding.com but have been following heaps of the posts here
i know you guys have probably seen this post hundreds of times, probably thousands!
but I am a 20 yr old that has been training for quiet a while now and still hard to gain serious gains
i weight 71 kgs (151 pounds) and find it hard to increase weight. Ive been at this weight for quiet a while and supplements don't seem to be helping quiet a lot. I eat clean and eat whatever i can get in my mouth.
I recently got told by a mate to have a look at finaflex and was just seeing if you guys have taken it and what you recommend on it?
What types of proteins do you recommend? I train 4-5 times a week and only recently (about 4-5 months ago) had a knee reconstruction so still doing a bit of rehab on my knee.
Thanks

Weight gains will come from eating at a caloric surplus, and thats what you need to do for your goal of putting on size/weight. If your having trouble getting those calories in you could look into getting Mass-Tech. Its a pretty well rounded gainer that will you help you get your macros in.

Start in the nutrition section (stickies go through calculating calorie and macro needs) and determine what your nutrition plan is. If after looking at everything you determine you need a protein supplement to help pack in extra protein and calories then I'd personally suggest getting whey that fits your budget and macro needs.
This is what I do for getting in some extra calories and such when needed.
The macros and calories will vary slightly depending on the specific brands or whatnot you use but a quick example of what I make usually is below. You could throw ice cream in there, olive oil, more PB, etc. This is (imo) a basic homemade shake though and for a min in the blender I'm happy to gulp down 1k calories
16oz whole milk
2sc whey
1 banana (personally pref - the PB/choc/banana flavor combo you get is awesome)
2tbsp PB
1c oats (you may want to crush the oats into more of a powder if you don't think you'll like the consistency)
add ice if you want a more milkshake/thicker consistency
