I will nap in the afternoon but wont proper sleep, i wont sleep till about 9 the next day. Ok so my question is will it hinder my outcome as i wont be sleeping for ages, should i still work out when on nights.

Why don't you try and organise your split so your rest days line up with the once in a while weekend work day? That way you don't have to worry about training when you are really tired after work and can rest.

As for nutrition, slow release shakes are great- nutrition tends to go out the window when you get tired.

your fibers are always rebuilding weather your asleep or not, sleeping just speeds up the process.
i also work nights some weeks and i work from 10 pm till 6 am then sleep til about 2 then workout about 2:30 or 3.
and i do not go to bed again until after my shift the next day at 6 am. then i repeat. i take whey protein after workout
and casein throughout the day/night while at work. (slow release protein)
