    I need answers

"you may have to refeed more than once a week depending on your body fat" DEPENDING ON YOUR BODYFAT... i posted awhile ago when i hit a plateau after 20 weeks of dieting. i received some GREAT advice to up calories for a few weeks. i did that and gained 4 pounds, then started eating in a calorie defecit again and to my amazement i am 7 pounds under where i got stuck the last time!

my question is what bodyfat percentage is deemed ok to have more than one refeed a week?

ive been having one a week for the past 5 weeks, but since i cut cals this week to 2100 ive been feeling drained. my workouts are sluggish(dont know how strength is because it is a deload week) i don't understand, in the past 30-40 weeks of dieting i have never felt run down like i do now. so here is my weight for the past week

feb 10th 150lbs(day after reefed day)
    feb 11 149
    feb 12 148
    feb 13 148
    feb 14 147(new low,REFEED)
    feb 15 149
    feb 16 148

and today 145lbs...after seeing my lowest weigh in this morning, and taking into account i've felt like hell the last week, i decided to reefed, today only being 3 days after my last one.

do you think i should refeed every 3 days now? unless my weight doesnt go down below neutral?

id say im about 9 percent(good for nothing fat calipers say im 6%)

    Hi

You could have put a nicer offering title lol

I cant help you about when to refeed twice, it will be trial and error.

If you got some great advice and upped your calories for two weeks then dropped them again maybe you didnt up your calories for long enough. I dont know what calories you was on but dieting for 30 - 40 weeks is a very long time and it could do more damage than good depending on diet cardio and metabolic state.

    What are you cutting for?

If your cutting for a show and still have 10-20 weeks maybe upping your calories again or bring another refeed in.

When did you last cut for 30-40 weeks have you given your body enough time to recover from that cut?

yes your right on the title thing, my apologies.

i upped my calories for 4 weeks straight. every week i would add 5% of my daily calories, i eventually made it just shy of 3000 calories. after that, i cut calories by 5% by each week until I'm where i am at now 2100. i didnt start doing cardio until 5 weeks ago. 200 cals on the elliptical. 3 days a week

i have 7 weeks until my show, and i have never dieted for over 9 weeks(last show, didnt look to good..)

    .....

Could you try a smaller refeed twice a week?
Or have your normal refeed every 5 days?

    See what woks for you

Going from 1 in 7 days to 1 every 3rd says seems a big jump personally (twice every 14 days to 5 every 15 days)

i apologize, this is my fault for lack of providing enough information. Normally i did 1 refeed every week. but the last two refeeds have been 5 days apart, and todays refeed was 3 days.

when you asked the last time i dieted for 30-40 weeks i thought you meant previously. this is the only time in my life i have ever dieted this long. the last time i dieted 3 years ago, was for a different show and only 9 weeks
