Let's say that for me, realistically, I need two full days to fill out nicely after a carb up. I just can't decide whether I should start off with more simple carbs and move to slower, or the other way around... Assuming the traditional show is on Saturday, and I'd start my carb up on Thursday, would you say it would be more advantageous to go most waffles/pancakes, etc. on Thursday and then for Friday, sweet potatoes & brown rice, etc., or the other way around?
Also... if I have a dental procedure (nothing major; should only be in pain for 1 day) on Thursday and will likely have to take a pain killer afterward to deal with it; do I risk any sort of muscle loss as a result?
Other stuff: classic ectomorph, "hard gainer," etc. etc.
Finally, not planning on training or doing any cardio for the two days prior to the event.
Thoughts/feedback, etc. ?
edit/additional details: water & carb depleting for the week, too. always leans me out nicely.
