I tried the patch and the lozenges for cutting, but I couldn't tolerate them. Even tiny amounts made me feel sick. I've read from lots of other people who use nicotine as a fat burner.
I've also read that slow release nicotine (like the patch) isn't as addictive as smoking because you don't get that instant hit. I'd guess an e cig might be comparable to real cigarettes in terms of how hard it is to quit.
