What is COMPETE
Compete takes intra-workout supplementation to an entirely new level. The days of using antiquated BCAA's or bloat inducing high carbohydrate/creatine products is long gone. Featuring clinically suggested doses of novel amino acids, whey protein hydrolysate, and focus supporting compounds, Compete is the perfect answer for any athlete looking to get the edge over their competition.*
How Does Compete work?
Compete works by addressing the four major necessities for athletic performance:
Mental Focus | Physical Performance | Recovery | Hydration*
Who is Faust
I am an amateur bodybuilder, who has 1.5 years of lifting experience. I started off being 275lbs ~40% bf , to now 200lbs ~15% bf.
How will I log
I currently workout Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday, I took PHAT by Layne Norton and instead of splitting up upper body hypertrophy days I have them as one. I will update log on each of those days.
At the moment I am using Whey, a multivitamin, and a pre-workout. I have been using these for sometime and should not effect my log.

Day 1
Alright so I am taking 1 scoop with pre-workout, and 1 scoop during workout. I am not mixing with pwo, cause i want to judge taste.
Upper Body
3 Sets 6-8 Reps
Seated Barbell Press 180lbs
Dumbbell Bench Press 90lbs x 2
Dumbbell Pullover 80lbs
Shoulder Shrug 355lbs
T Bar Row 190lbs
Wide Grip Lat Pull Down 195lbs
Preacher Curl 100lbs
Triceps Extension Machine 140lbs
Compete:
Taste: 8/10 It taste good in fact should maybe give it a higher rating considering its a supplement. I enjoyed it, not surprised I do enjoy my Tangy Tangerine.
Effectiveness: 7.5/10 I drank less water about half of what I normally chug in the gym so it did help with hydration, I didn't have any cramps or problems so physical performance I'll give it that, recovery too soon to tell, but by the above two it should help. However, I didn't feel the mental focus advertised on it. So 3/4
Wow I really don't like being so hard on a product, and since it did help I feel like I am low balling them.
Day 1

Day 2
Took 1 scoop 30 mins prior to gym, and one during workout. This time i put the 2nd scoop in my water jug which is the bodybuilding.com 2.2 liter bottle. I actually prefer the taste watered down, not to mention i get a steady supply of it intraworkout.
Leg Day
Compete
1 Set Low Rep
Deadlift 335lbs 3 Reps
ATG Squat 205 6 Reps
3 Sets 6-8 Reps
Leg Press 540lbs
Seated Calf Raise 350lbs
Lying Hamstring Curls 170 lbs
Cable Crunch 200lbs
Taste: 9/10 I think I prefer it watered down more so than they suggest. I still took the pre workout compete with normal amount of water though.
Effectiveness: 7.5/10 Again Hydration, Performance, and Recovery seems to be working. I have yet to get mental focus though.

Day 4
So today I mixed the pre workout and the compete together, not going to include that on taste/10 (you could mix it with different PWOs and have different taste). I will say it mixed together fine though, didn't cause any problems. I again used my 2.2 liter jug, and like Tuesday drank it all but didn't have to refill like I would do before compete.
As for split I was not feeling it today and did chest, shoulders, and triceps. I would normally do Back and Biceps too, but again didn't want to be in gym for 2 hrs or more.
Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps
4 Sets 10-12 Reps
Seated Dumbbell Press 60lbs x2
Barbell Bench Press 165lbs
Dumbbell Pullover 75lbs
Lateral Raise 25lbs x2
Incline Dumbbell Bench 60lbs
Triceps Extension Machine 120lbs
Compete
Taste: 9/10 Same as before. I am enjoying just 1 scoop in the 2.2 liter jug, watered down but easy to take whole work out. Taste great.
Effectiveness: 7.5/10 Again Hydration, Performance, and Recovery. No mental focus though.

Day 5
Alright so today I was kinda lazy, so lazy in fact that when making my preworkout I left in the 4 ounces of vanilla protein shake still in and threw in the compete with preworkout. Tangerine/Vanilla/Blue Razberry.... everything turned out better than expected, I actually enjoyed it lol. Intra was still same as above.
Back and Biceps
4 Sets 10-12 Reps
Cable Row 170 lbs
Chin Up Pulldown 165 lbs
Preacher Curl 80 lbs
Behind the back Shoulder Shrug 245 lbs
4 Sets 12-20 Reps
Rear Delt Flyes 15 lbs x2
Compete
Taste: 9.5/10 I like the fact that i can mix it so easily, even with some protein shake . I am enjoying just 1 scoop in the 2.2 liter jug, watered down but easy to take whole work out. Taste great.
Effectiveness: 7.5/10 Again Hydration, Performance, and Recovery. I still don't know about this focus, I mean I do my sets and reps fine. Maybe I am being a little rough on it idk, like when I hear mental focus I think about preworkouts I have taken that give me legit tunnel vision. That I am not getting.

Yeah, I like to hold of my in store review for a week or even somtimes the whole tub, just to make sure I don't miss something.
Hmmm... would you suggest 2 scoops before workout or two during workout. I could give that a try.
Thanks
Glad to have you here. Like I said with last post I do enjoy the versatility of this, mix it with pre workout, without pre workout, lots of water, small amount.
I am pretty new I want to compete, I am competitive in EVERYTHING. So its a matter of time before I do a show, just got to put in the work. I don't have a set date though, not ready quite yet.
Sounds good, will try.

Day 6
I did it again this time on purpose, 1 scoop PreWorkout, 1 scoop Compete 1/2 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein. I will not be doing this next week since I will stop my PreWorkout use, I am trying to cycle off caffeine before my EC stack in a few weeks. So next week Compete will be my only supplement besides Vitamins.
Legs, Lower Back, and Abs
4 Sets 10-12 Reps
Leg Press 490 lbs
Calf Raise 630 lbs
Seated Hamstring Curl 180 lbs
1 Leg Quad Extension 90 lbs
Frog Crunch 45 lbs
1 Set 10 Reps
Deadlift 295 lbs
Compete
Taste: 9.5/10
Taste great.
Effectiveness: 7.5/10
Same as before
Day 6
8.5/10
^^ On Monday it will be one week on so I will be able to elaborate on recovery effectiveness. Also I will be off of PreWorkout, so I will be able to also clearly judge how COMPETE handles performance by itself, and maybe even focus.

Day 8
Alright.... today I did not use a PWO, I am a big stim junkie. I am not going to be using stims for the next week or two. I felt like hammer dog **** but some how increased some lifts, and got all 3 sets of preacher curls to 8 reps. Excited to increase weight next monday.
Upper Body
3 Sets 6-8 Reps
Seated Barbell Press 185 lbs
Dumbbell Bench Press 90 lbs x2
Dumbbell Pullovers 85 lbs
T Bar Row 190lbs
Wide Grip Lat Pull Down 195lbs
Preacher Curl 100lbs
Triceps Extension Machine 140lbs
Compete
Taste: 9/10 Didn't use PWO so just 8 ounces of water in shaker cup with COMPETE before, and 1 scoop intra in my 2.2 water jug
Effectiveness: 8/10 Hydration I am drinking less water, I did have to add a little more in 2.2 liter jug during work out but still less than before. Not to mention no cramps or any signs of dehydration. With hydration comes better performance, it really might not be noticeable till you grind out that last rep that goes up so slowly. Recovery has been good the last week, I am bulking and getting good macros. I have had no doms and been able to hit the gym hard each workout. Mental focus is kinda lacking, but I was able to get in the zone during workout.

Day 11
3rd Workout no PWO... workout with a friend he wanted to do something diffrent (so I amused the idea) we did back and chest doing shoulders and arms tomorrow. I am not a fan of this split but whatever.
Chest and Back
4 Sets 10-12 Reps
Barbell Bench Press 165 lbs
Incline Bench Press 155 lbs
Dumbbell Pullover 75 lbs
Cable Row 170 lbs
Chin Pull Downs 165 lbs
Iso Row Machine 185 lbs
Compete
Taste: 9/10 Didn't use PWO so just 8 ounces of water in shaker cup with COMPETE before, and 1 scoop intra in my 2.2 water jug
Effectiveness: 8/10 I usually don't eat before working out but I did today so I don't know if that is why but I drank a lot more water in the gym than previous days on COMPETE. Still was hydrated though, so no problem. No craps, no soreness, no doms, so recovery is all set. Performance is great I am able to squeeze out that 12th rep easier, seems like it helps stop the burn. Mental Edge though is still lacking, I am still waiting hoping it comes out but as if now not so much.

Shoulder Shrug 245 lbs
Preacher Curl 80 lbs
Tricep Pulldowns 120lbs
4 Sets 12-20 Reps

Compete
Taste: 9/10 Didn't use PWO so just 8 ounces of water in shaker cup with COMPETE before, and 1 scoop intra in my 2.2 water jug. I love the taste Tangerine flavor is great.
Effectiveness: 8/10 Still was hydrated and recovering great, so no problems like cramps, soreness, and doms. Performance is great I am able to squeeze out that 12th rep easier, seems like it helps stop the burn. Day 15
Well I was sick today, not sure if cold or flu or what. I tried to push through it
Upper Body
Did what I could
yeah We aren't doing this today lol,
ended up just playing around doing different exercises.
Did some dumbbell rows, some iso-incline press,
just stuff I don't do
My taste isn't 100% today, and workout was sub par. Can't blame COMPETE for sickness. I usually recover fast, so hopefully my log will be 100% by Thursday.

Day 17
Alright still getting over this cold, or sinus infection or whatever. Feeling better though hit the gym hard.
Shoulders, Biceps, and Triceps
3 Sets 10-12 Reps
Seated Dumbbell Press 60 lbs x2
Preacher Curl 85 lbs
Triceps Cable Press Down 40 lbs x2
4 Sets 10-20 Reps
Lateral Raises 15 lbs x2
Ez-bar Curl 45 lbs
French Press 50 lbs
Rear Delt Flyes 37.5 lbs
Compete
I can't fully enjoy the taste because of being sick, my performance was pretty good though I was psyched to workout. Being hydrated is important, even more so if your sick so glad to have compete. Hopefully I will be 100% tomorrow or Friday.

Day 18
I put up my final review of Compete in store. I wanted to link, but when I went to review page, I got Page not found. I will post review link when I don't get error, I sent error message to webmaster in email.
Leg Day
4 Sets 10-20 Sets
Hack Squat 180 lbs
Hamsting Curls 150 lbs
1 Leg Quad Extensions 100 lbs
Leg Press 500 lbs
Calf Raise on Leg Press 660 lbs
Frog Crunch 45 lbs
Compete
Taste: 9/10 Using a PWO again, took it before I rode bike to gym, then PWO when i got to gym. Its cold out and I guess by 2.2 litter jug got hard from the cold and I dropped it in locker room, a piece shattered off. So going back to using a shaker 16oz water while in gym.
I definitely enjoy the taste a little more watered down, but 16 oz is pretty good.
Effectiveness: 8/10 Still was hydrated. Was sick so I had time to recover I guess, but from previously I know compete stacks up.

Day 19
Still missing my 2.2 litter jug. RIP
Chest and Back
4 Sets 10-12 Reps
Bench 185 lbs
Incline Bench 60 lbs
Pull Over 65 lbs
Lat Pulldown 195
Calble Flye 20 lbs x2
Shoulder Shrug 255 lbs
Cable Row 170 lbs
Compete
Taste: 9/10 I like tangerines, what can I say.
Effectiveness: 8/10 Still was hydrated. Recovery is great I was unsure of doing this split with arms then compound chest and back movements a day after since I am hitting arms twice really, but recovery is there. Endurance definitively there, I ride my bike to the gym, then workout. So its thirty mins cardio before an hour of working out, then another thirty mins of cardio.
