Anybody that says Europe is socially 50 years behind America may just be a white man living in America. America isn't even close to a post-racial society. When you can prove that white men don't make more than their woman or racial counterpart then you can maybe say the institutionalized racism has gone down some. However this still excludes the fact that minorities make up an disproportionally large amount of the prison systems based on their population percentages in the United States. And don't even start with the "We have a black president so we can't be racist!!1" argument.

The fact that people pull this card every time someone brings up race in America shows how weak our foundation really is. In 2008 there was a solid week where the media was reporting on "the first African-American president" if we were really in a post racial society we wouldn't feel the need to focus on the color of the presidents skin. Did he win because people wanted him as the best choice or did he win because we don't care about skin color anymore? Can't be the second cuz people won't shut up about it.

I think we can all agree to be friends and comrades but also realize that perhaps the best potential situation is for us to live separately in our own homelands. Despite what people on both sides of the ocean claim, neither the U.S. or Europe has been successful with multiculturalism and multiracialism.

This is a hard realization for some people to make because of personal acquaintances and friends of different backgrounds. Sure, Tyrone is a great friend and we hit the gym together every day, but overall, on the whole, relations are very sour between peoples.

Maybe, race and ethnicity are becoming more and more blurry every passing year. There's more mixed marriages now than ever before. Maybe in 500 years race wont be an issue.

Everyday I see a new story about how X player (Eto'o, mario balotelli) or Y club (A.C Milan) protested a football match by vacating the pitch because of the immense levels of racist chants that were directed toward said player or club. If your scenario plays out, combined with the current world population of an estimated 1 billion ethnic Europeans out of 7 billion people, with an extremely low birthrate, the only issue we will have will be the disappearance of the European race and culture. Not sure how this can be perceived as a good thing.

So much this. Not a racist but are immigrants ruining Europe? You fukin bet. Currently here (Barcelona) and have been all over Europe the past 4 months. The amount of immigrants begging for money, standing on the street, prostituting, pick pocketing, and overall not contributing whatsoever is absolutely rampant. 99% of the time its not Europeans doing this. Pretty sad to see a great continent be ruined my multiculturalism. Europeans built Europe, now the immigrants are destroying it.
