    Calisthenic workout for obese people?

    Hey all.


    I have been trying to find a good calisthenic workout that it aimed at obese people, and I haven't had much luck so far.

    I do have some weight lifting gear, but due to a change in my living situation, I have had to place it in storage. When I did, I fell off track with both my diet and my exercise. I did, however get a treadmill, so I am wanting to get back on track. I am still unable to get my weightlifting gear out of storage, but want to add in exercise aside from just hitting the treadmill.

    My main goal is hypertrophy (of course), but my physical fitness level is really low, so I need a calisthenic workout that it aimed at obese people (ie, I can't do a single pull up, so I need an alternative if one is available).

    Does anybody know of a calisthenic workout that would be good for me? Links?

    Careful with dem joints (srs). For the time being, I mean. Some other forms of conditioning are not jarring or stressful in that way.

    Inverted rows, pullup negatives, band-assisted pullups, etc., etc. Also, weights would help immensely. But you knew that...


    Would be better if you used primarily diet to get the excess fat off, and used weights (and some bodyweight things, if you like) to get stronger in the meantime. A gym membership, perhaps?
