    how can i gain mass ?

    Hi, I was wondering I know that time under tension is good for mass but I have been lifting for 3.5 years im seventeen now and i have gained about 40lbs. of muscle. I believe I have hit the maximum strength for my body size , because its been almost a year since ive goten any stronger or bigger.

    Eat a caloric surplus while progressively overloading on compound movements.

    eat more than what your body is used to eating, this is how we gain weight. to ensure that we do not plateau, you have to make sure that you're progressing and getting strong as fuk, so make sure you always increase the weight when you feel like it.

    The principle goes: eat, lift, sleep, repeat.

    at 124lb you are nowhere near the maximum size you can be at 5'6''. For bulking (putting on mass) you want to be eating at a caloric surplus of 500-1000 cals above maintenance, whilst following a routine that focuses on primarily compound movements with a select few isolations. You want to be adding progressive overload, and stay in the low rep, high weight range. The big three compound lifts are;
    - Squat
    - Bench press
    - Deadlift
    for routines, preferably Starting Strength or All pro's.

    For gaining mass eat high calories food. Protein is good source of energy and fat so eat protein in your meal to gain some mass. Protein shake is also good.
