Muscle Pharm Assault == horrible Beta Alanine flush

Hey Folks,

I had been using SuperPump for my workouts but decided to try MusclePharm's Assault. I always start off with a half dose (stimulant sensitive). Even with the half-dose, my skin flushes horribly for about twenty minutes; all of my extremities, face, ears, etc.

Anyone else experience this? I didn't see a whole lot in the product reviews.

Beta Alanine can do that to people

Beta Alanine gives me horrible tingles, especially on my ears and back of hands.

I usually get the tingles. Love it, but that's me personally.

I get very tingly the first time I take a pre after a break off but even just the second time after I don't.

Beta alanine and niacin give me horrible redness\flushness. For that reason avoid pre workouts containing these ingrediants and just supplement beta alanine in pill form when I am home lol

Used Assault for a month never had that problem but with The Curse I had it bad!

Have been using SuperPump Max off and on for a few months, like it a lot.

Curse hit me like a freight train with BA tingles. Assault is pretty strong, too. SP Max is my favorite stim pre right next to White Flood.

The tingly feeling is normal. It goes away with prolonged use.

I love the feeling, it has to be much more intense for a lot of people because I don't get the complaints.

You should love that feeling! Haha it gets me amped and in the zone to train, but that's my personal preference. As stated earlier the tingles will decrease over continuous use.

Agree with the Beta Alanine comment... Everyone reacts differently.

Niacin is known for flushing you as well

I personally dont mind the tingles, but I'm not always a fan of the jittery feeling

I have tried assault and had no problem at all. I started low at first though half a serving and even when my tolerance went up and I ended up using a full serving I never had that problem. A friend I lift with it had a completely different effect and he had the same flush. It will probably subside, maybe you should take a lower dose. Every ones different just see what works for you.

I get the same thing with only the new formula of MP Assault. I have noticed that it only happens to me on an empty stomach. That is, if i eat sthing a little while before I take it them Im fine. Empty stomach = alien life form rash. Lol

use it fairly regularly and have never had tingle or gotten flushed

that being said, i've never experienced that with any pre workout

I personally stray away from pre workout formulas with BA..If I'm going to use it then I we split if up between throughout the day , which helps tingles....

I'd say it's more likely the niacin. The beta alanine probably doesn't help either.

Skin flush would be from niacin.

I lurrrve the BA tingles.. dat placebo pump up
