    Red face Advice anyone?

So here's the deal. I am looking into NOT losing weight, but gaining muscle. I'm not a big girl, I'm happy with my size, but i just want to get toned up.. x10. The only activity I do is riding my bike, to school and everywhere i can basically. The ride to my school from my house is a little over 3 miles. I recently started doing little workouts to tone up my legs, stomach, and i am just waiting to get more equipment to start on my arms. But I need a little more advice on what i should be doing and how i should be doing it. I'm also eating more healthy than i did before, so my diet is pretty good. Should i start drinking protein shakes before workouts..should i join a gym...i just need more opinions on what i should do to tone up. Thanks guys!

Hi, my advice is checkout a gym in your local area. If your not looking into loosing weight, all you have to be doing is lifting weights at a gym. Within time you will feal better in your self and look better as well. Wouldn't waste money on buying your own equipment.
I am what you were, but will become what you are now.

    Hey!
I recommend joining a local gym. For toning you are going to be looking at around 10-15 rep ranges. Good compound movements are a great place to start. Squats are a great compound movement which work multiple muscles in one movment, you get quad, glutes, hamstring and lower back work and its a great exercise for toning the lower body.
I also reccomend doing alot of core work, with a strong core it will help everything else in the long run!!
In regards to the protein shakes, they are not really necessary as you can get in protein from whole foods for example chicken. But they are convient! Hope this helps somewhat!
