I'm 16 5'10 133 pounds and I'm craving McDonald's like crazy today. Today is one of my off days and have been thinking about getting McDonalds. If I do get it, I will most likely get more fat, protein, and calories then I usually do a day which is around 2500-3000 calories. I don't really keep track of my diet as I've heard I should just have fun and not worry about it and just eat quite a bit. I kept track of my calories on one day and it was about 3000 calories. I cut off a little bit of food since then but haven't kept track and now probably get like 2800.
Would it be bad to get a quarter pounder with a medium french fries and a medium lite minute maid lemonade? This would be the first time I've eaten anything from McDonalds in about a month.

Well it probably won't fit my macros at all. I mean if anything I'd just consider it a cheat meal. This would probably be my first pretty bad meal in a few weeks if not a month
The main thing I'm worried about is me getting too much fat at one time or that it will effect my gains. If it will, would it effect it a lot?

Eat the McD's and then eat something else! Any medical conditions or factors not discussed here aside; your stats suggest you can more than afford to eat some misc foods like this now and again. I wouldn't make a habit of eating pure crap and ending up 331lbs but a little extra fat and calories might do you good.
This is coming from someone that's been pretty slender his whole life until he started actually eating
EDIT:
Most people have a little bit of buffer in their macros. Don't make it a habit and you'll be fine

Mate when i was your age and when i was rake thin, i was smashing down the Maccas and the KFC on the regular. Then when i started bulking and got serious, i still kept it in there because it helps out with high calorie days and putting weight on in general.
Worry about your junk food consumption when you get older. Enjoy it right now cos you're at that age where you shouldn't be thinking twice about it, especially @ 5'10" 133lbs.advertising/self-promotion not permitted

I eat McD's twice a month. All this talk about "lean bulking" and it "not fitting your macros"... dude, your body does not know or care what the food is called. It knows the macros. One food contains a high concentration of fat and carbs and we call it "dirty"... another food contains the same carbs and fat and we call it "clean". Just hit the macros and use your common sense in eating healthy.
p.s. it's much better for you if you wash it down with a beer afterwards.

Ever see him meet his macronutrient goals with adequate micros in the film? Or just over consume with absurd abandon. We could achieve the same thing at a sushi restaurant, a steak house, a fish restaurant, or in our own kitchens with a targeted attempt to over consume on a consistent basis.
A Mcdouble is a shadow of the burgers I make at home. I am not afraid of a small hamburger because its has "McDonald's" wrapper on it.Last edited by EjnarKolinkar; 01-08-2013 at 04:30 PM.
