I have been researching and have come across many different articles and websites talking about how much protein you should eat blah blah blah...
I currently eat 200g of protein per day, but I have been having stomach and digestion issues recently. I am wondering if I should cut down on my protein consumption or not.
On an average day I eat the following:
Oatmeal 7g or egg whites 20g
pure protein bar 20g
Cho Bani Yogurt/almonds 30g
Tuna wrap for lunch with almonds/ 30g
dinner I always have protein, which varies from mainly chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon with veggies/ plain baked potato 50g
whey protein shake after workout 50g
Now I have read the following article, and want to know more about the topic of dietary proteins, whey proteins, and if my diet is the reason for my recent stomach issues. I also went to my doctor, and he did not really help. So I am going to try and figure things out before I have to go see a specialist.
Two of the articles that really caught my attention

Can you eat too much protein? Interesting article and I would love feedback on topic

Well, if you eat more protein than your body can synthesize, the extra protein is converted to glycogen. If your liver and muscle glycogen stores are already full, then the glycogen is converted to bodyfat for storage. So yeah, there's no point in eating more protein than necessary. In fact, some fat loss "experts" (like Josef Rakich), advocate eating 1 gram of protein per pound of LEAN body mass, not total bodyweight. I personally seem to do fine with 1 gram per pound of lean body mass. It leaves more room in my macros for yummy carbs and fat! )

Piffle. I am going to take everything bad imagined or real and write a blog post with no citations OP, you can bet your health on it too at your own risk.
You could probably get by fine at 180g protein a day. Your fat and fiber intakes look low. Are you constipated brah?

You need to be far more selective about your sources of nutrition science/advice.
In the links you list, I stopped reading here:
Grams of protein needed each day
Men ages 19 – 70+ ..........56
It's difficult to say what the cause of your stomach issue might be. It may be that you've become lactose intolerant. That will be something to discuss further with your doc.
As EjnarKolinkar pointed out, where's the dietary fat and fiber?
Instead reading uncited and unsubstantiated drivel on lay websites intended for soccer moms, start reading the stickies at the top of this forum. After that, here are some top-notch nutrition sites:

Thanks for all the helpful information thus far. I am not taking these articles very seriously, but I wanted to stir up the conversation on this topic to help myself create a healthier diet. I am not constipated, but I definitely go to the bathroom much less now, then I ever have before.
Now when you talk about not enough dietary fats in my diet, doesn't eating tuna/chicken/salmon/almonds on a daily basis cover the amounts of fats I need.
Also I do think I need more fiber in my diet, and I am going to work on that
