I might throw. Haven't since freshman year. I wanted to last year but I just thought it was too boring. My lifting partner throws so I might. (I suck though, and freshman year the coach never really helped me at all.)

That sucks man (the bad coaching thing), I can definitely see how that would make it not very fun. (I can't really say I know what you mean though, all of my coaches are amazing.)

But all I can say to you, is go do it! It's a great place to make some friends, have some fun, and there's a pretty high chance you can get good scholarships.

I liked running the 200, but now I'll probably be running mid or distance in spring. either 800 or mile. you?

lol, I was sortof overweight when I started running (7th grade), but white-boy fast, so I ran 100, 4x1, 4x4, but then my coach put me in the 800 and I did pretty well, then 8th I rocked the 4x4, 800, and 1600....dat feel...

My favorite event is the 1600/mile I'd have to say, however I've had the most success in the 800 (4x8 more specifically).

Short distance runner right here. I love it. I care about the 100m 4x100m and 4x200m. Then I do the 200m too but it's not important to me for some reason.

100m time currently 11.8 sec. Hopefully I can hit a 11.4 by May. Then 11 flat a year from now. This way I qualify for state

Definitely solid times...you'd be the fastest on our team.

I wish we had sprinters...or jumpers....
If we would've scored just a few sprint/jump points at the 2012 state meet we would've taken 1st instead of 2nd.

Also, I'm the number two runner on my team, the 1,2,and 3 all.have the same times. But 1 is a senior.

Not Westerville North. Lancaster.
Our XC team is decent, didn't make it out of regionals this year (got 5th, top 4 progress). Next year our entire top-5 is returning, we hope to put up a good fight at the state meet.
