Working on a hood project for my Ram.
Blocked, primered and painted it so far.
These are two are ordered and on route:
1. Not sure if I'll leave the ram or paint it out yet
2. Ordered in white:
I’m thinking some pin striping to accent the louvers and separate the scoop.
Any suggestions?
Ultimately the end goal is for it to scream “Mopar”

Nice truck cmoore! I wrecked my ram the other evening, but hope to have it fixed by next week. I wanted another diesel, but couldn't afford one this go around and settled for a HEMI. Is the white or black the after paint photo?

Mopar Guy checking in.
2010 Charger SRT8
It's not a truck so I've gotten rid of all the Ram's heads and replaced with SRT. Except the one on the steering wheel, and I have the replacement just been lazy.
I think the hood might be too busy with both stripes and the Cummins badge, but that is a badass looking hood. Maybe paint the inserts white if they can be removed?Insta: flexjs

I like these stripes with a black hood, but not sure if they would work on the Ram, or how they would look with the rear stripes.Eric

Thanks. The top shot (black hood treatment) is the current photo. The all white one at the bottom just shows the truck in general with my bumble stripe.
Not removable but I could certainly pin, air, or paint them.
I was thinking I need to remove some or all of the truck badging (maybe just leave the C's).

I have Dodge in garage. 05 Quad.
A few LED lights in the scoop would be sweet, but they have heat issues. Hmm wonder if there are any people in the truck forums that have pulled that off long term? The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Huge CTD guy here, get rid of the Ram head on the grill. Stickers look good. What size tires are you running? 285's?
I run 305/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2003 CTD Quad cab. It's silver with stock rims. I love my truck, and just turned 213,000 miles. It will light up both back tires also.
I actually took out a 6.0 out of my 2004 Ford F550 delivery truck and put in a old mechanical 5.9 Cummins in that truck. The International 6.0 was such a bad design and ran so hot it would blow head gaskets and and oil coolers alot.

I'm thinking parallel but still something subtle might make it just a little better yet. Open to ideas for sure
I'm leaning towards blacking out the new grill when it comes. Will decide when I see it.
I'm on 315 70R15 duratracs (34"-ish). Rigs mildly altered. Last time on the dyno she pulled 900ft lbs at 2k. That was some work ago and she feels dramatically stronger now. The 68 is the only thing really holding me back. Alligator Performance is just down the road from me though so at some point ill get them to build me a tougher tranny and then the power can come up a bit."I'm not a Ninja, but I played one on TV." -cmoore, American Ninja Warrior (ANW 7,8)

I'm only pushing about 425, never dynoed it though.
Jeff Garmon is my mechanic, I swear the man puts a little diesel in his coffee instead of creamer.
He sells trannys also, he builds some amazing stuff. Right now he is building a 2013 1/2 ton with a 6.7 that runs off all stock truck Hemi computer and and that will be pushing 700 hp and get about 40-50 miles a gallon. He has already done it once and sold it so he has decided to do another one.
He calls them Hybrid Killers, google it.

Grill should be in a soon as end of this week. Leaning towards semi flat blacking the billet and placing a Cummins C logo on the drivers side of grill (sorta like the old mopars would have Challenger, dart, etc).
Paint needs a bit of time to cure before I can rub it out. Kinda liking the “ghosts” in the semi flat but will likely buff them out when the time comes.

The Rams (and F150s etc) are ridiculously expensive here in NZ with conversion to right hand drive and taxes etc driving the prices well into the mid $100k mark, and thats not even the SRT range, although I don't know if they bring them in anymore or not (got quite popular for a while in the early 2000s).

Ahh, that makes sense. One of the guys that works for me has a pair of GP's!
Love the blackout hood and some version of black flares would really go well.
I rhino-lined the the hood of our Jeep Cherokee and went with the BW flat flares. The original style look much better on trucks, but they are spendy.Journal- One of the Ogres

Grill's in. I love it. Will try to get a good pic tomorrow.
Still need to rub out the hood but it maybe a while until it gets warm enough to bother."I'm not a Ninja, but I played one on TV." -cmoore, American Ninja Warrior (ANW 7,8)
