    much appreciated bro!

just made some extremely tasted turkey sliders today, with a really quick recipe i came up with....

    1 lb 93/7 ground turkey
Roasted Garlic & Herb as seasoning
    parmesan cheese

mash all the above ingredients in a large mixing bowl
heat up a pan to medium heat, spray with pam
make eight little balls out of the meat and place on pan (my pan was too small, i had to make 5, then 3)
flatten balls and cook about 8 min per side, adding another dash of parmesan on top of each slider at the end

afterwards i threw on some pepperoni and put my asparagus on the side, then heated it up and tasted the pure deliciousness!

Dude...Always sauce'in it up here. Ken's Steakhouse Ranch, About 5 different kinds of hot sauce, Low Sodium Soy Sauce, Sesame oil, Siracha, Siracha Brand Chili Garlic Sauce (rocks) for stirfry lettuce wraps, Buffalo Wild Wing's Parmesan Garlic sauce is also good to go, Joe T. Garcia's Texas salsa weighs in at 1gram. Stubb's BBQ sauce checks in at 6grams, so if you gotta do BBQ sauce...

Also, I'm hooked on Spectrum Brand Organic Flaxseed Oil. It the best tasting one I've tried and they sell it at Kroger. Great in a vanilla shake w/ some heavy cream or just in a spoon..

I love cooking with coconut oil, but I can't get down with IgBoMeso putting coco oil in coffee. Sorry, I actually like coffee so I prefer not to ruin it.
Oil straight up ruins the mouth feel and turns it into a cup of slick ass motor oil.

I guess I'll go ahead and introduce myself in here. I've been a long time reader of the forums, but I rarely post anything. I started a log in the keto section about a year ago, but I stopped keeping up with it and eventually went back to a carb diet. I've been giving the keto thing a re-try for about a month and a half now and have lost about 12 pounds in the process. My goals are two-prong (like most): increase strength and lose fat. So far, this has been going well.

    Height: 5'11
    Weight: 208 (as of today)
BF: ~ 17%? (caliper tested in August '12, weighed about 215 then)

    Lifts:
    Bench: 315 Goal: 355
    Deadlift: 525 Goal: 585
    Squat: 415 Goal: 495

These goals may seem lofty, but these are all lifts that I've previously done in the past. I'll start a log on here in the near future with some pictures and effort, unlike the last one.

Long term keto-er here(~6 years) and counting.

Goals: maintain current bf % as i already achieved the level that i want.
Also, looking to exceed in calisthenics and marathon times.

Hey man, good to see the results of long term keto.

How do you handle long distance running while on keto? After I finish my own 12 week CKD, im looking to start training for my first marathon mid year. You got any tips mate?

In the books and literature, they advertise that you need carbs to run. So i did try both running with or without pre+during carbs. To be honest, i did not feel any diffrences.

Although my finish time when carbs were used was better than the non carbs time, it would be unfair to compare them as i also slacked off more the year i omit carbs(during the run).

Running should be robotic, if you ve trained hard enough, only the first 5 km should require some effort, after that you should be on auto run.

Hey all. Another Aussie here. Some might have seen me lurking around another couple of keto threads on here.

Currently on day 11.9 (almost 12) of a CKD. I started around 92.5kg (204lb) and have just fallen under 90kg (198.4lb). Not much of a pissing phase where the loss may have come, from but certainly looking leaner the last few days, and my jeans are definitely looser in the waist. Have had a few guys at the gym comment on my leaning out. Still, a fair way to go.

I was DEXA scanned back in Aug last year at 90.6Kg. 73Kg LBM and 17% BF (although I think calliper and visual would have had me at 15%). I pretty much looked like my avatar. Looking to get under 10%, perhaps around 8% and try and keep it constant at 8-10% year round, if possible. At my age though, that may be asking a lot! From that point have tried eating less than 100g/day of carbs to lean out without any real success. Have played with dropping/upping calories. Increasing/decreasing cardio. Without much result, I've turned to keto after listening to a youtube video from Alan Eltron Barrell, who died recently, but swore that the way to get shredded is carb cycling. And now I'm here!!

    Eating around 2200-2500 cals/day. 160g P/150g F/ <30g C. Working out 6 days a week (back/bis - chest/tris - Shoulders/abs - rest day - rinse & repeat) with a couple of games of soccer (Wed/Sat).

I've been feeling pretty weak since getting on the keto diet, with a couple of separate days with bad headaches, and the last few days having to nap for an hour or so before getting into the gym. Today felt pretty good, but still feeling a bit off in the gym. My lifts haven't really suffered in terms of intensity. It's my stamina that's waning a bit. Getting through my standard routines, just having to really push myself towards the end, before jumping on the bike to do some LISS or MISS for 30-45.

Hoping the energy levels will start to come back up, as I'm thinking of carbing up at the 3 week mark.

Looking forward to hanging out and learning more. Good luck to everyone on their keto journey. Everyone's is that little bit different!

I did my carb up last night after about a 2-week period of no carb-ups. I must have eaten close to 16 ounces of fettucini alfredo and another 14 or so ounces of veal parmesan from Buca Di Beppo. Good god, it was awesome.
