Day 46
Leg day today. Took the usual 2 pill dosage with breakfast and worked out right before dinner. Zoo was jam packed tonight, must have been some type of open house or something. I could not get a squat rack and took a barbell from a bench to do my deads. Times like this i wish I had my own setup at home.
Here's what I did today:
Lower Body B
Barbell Deadlift
135x10
185x8
205x8
275x6
275x6
Leg Press
270x15
2700x15
450x15
450x15
450x15
Lying Leg Curl
135x15
145x12
145x12
Standing Calf Raise
195x21
195x21
195x21
Body felt better today, but still a bit weak. I'll see how next week plays out and may schedule a deload. I'm about due for one.

Day 48, start of week 8
I had to swap my upper body with lower body as my wrist is flared up a bit. I took my usual daily dosage and worked out after dinner. The gym is much more pleasant place when most of the people there are there to actually lift. Such a different atmosphere after 8:30.
Lower Body A

135*5
185*8
250*5
250*7
250*7
225*8
Barbell Stiff Legged Deadlift
135*8
225*7
225*8
225*8
Leg Extensions
150*12
150*12
150*12
Hack Squats
270*12
270*12
270*12
Standing Calf raises
195*25
195*25
195*25
195*25
Kneeling Cable Crunch
95*15
95*15
95*15
30 minutes cross ramp cardio
Really happy with this workout after a bad ending to last week. As you can see, I like to do a lot of squats. Once I am in the rack, I just want to keep going. I like to mix up heavy, slow reps with quick, light reps. I actually have to tell myself to not over do it and walk away....lol. Also, the feeling of not being rushed helps tremendously! Hand is feeling good today, so should get my upper body workout in tonight.
Diet is still going good. I am down another 1.5lbs over the past 2 weeks. Yesterdays macros were a bit off yesterday, but still met my caloric goals. I had a craving for peanut butter, so fats are a bit high: 1854cals 119p/167c/78f

20 Minutes Stair master
Not a bad workout. My lower back is sore from the deads and squats the night before, so the pulldowns and rows really weren't the most comfortable things to do. Now I remember why I usually do upper body before lower during the week!
Daily macros: 1718 cals. 154p/159c/55f. I had about 100 cals to spare and should have added a tad more protein and fat to the day.
Off day today. Let the body recover from the DOMS from Monday night's workout.

It was an ok workout. Nothing heavy, but I increased the intensity and shorteded the rests to get more out of the workout since I wasn't feeling to keen on pushing a lot of weight. I did 40 minutes of cardio this morning and will do my upper body workout tonight.
My macros are off. I was celebrating my last day of work, so it was worth it 2628cals 162p/286c/70f

Ya, its just my lower back that is sore. The weight of the bar on my traps for squats and at the top extension for deads seem to irratate it the most.

Just make sure you differentiate between regular soreness, which is fine to fight through, and tightness in your back that might make you more prone to pulling it. Still good job.
Been out of town for a few days and I'm missing the fun!

I want to thanks Athletic Edge Nutrition for the opportunity to run a log on their APE product! Throughout the past 8 weeks, I have noticed a greater overall focus, mood and spike in energy. This goes for my daily activities, not just at the gym. My libido was also greatly increased during this time!
I was cutting during this log, and while I lost 9lbs, my lifts continued to increase. I constantly set new PRs for Bench, Incline DB, Squats and Deads. There were a few days that my lifts were less than the previous week, but the following week I would blow past that with ease. While at the gym, I felt that I could just keep on going. I would be in the squat rack at times doing 50-60 reps over 8-10 sets. I had to force myself to move onto the next set of exercises. That was a huge plus for me. I would usually just do my scheduled reps/sets and move on. While on APE I just wanted to keep pushing myself. I also noticed that I was able to recover from my workouts much quicker, which helped me to continue to push forward without constant DOMS or fatigue.
APE is a real solid product, I believe it produces exactly what AEN advertises. After I take a few weeks off, I plan on running another 8 week cycle. This along with keeping my diet in check, I should be loose the rest of my winter dirty bulk fat and get down to my desired weight wile maintaining my muscle. From there I plan on doing a better job at adding some muscle via a more controlled bulk!!
Extra thanks to E_P_C, MTCS, and Sword_ for the support throughout this log!
**edit....I'll try and get an updated set of pictures up soon.

I really appreciate your feedback and glad you enjoyed it! I was doing some demo work around my area in Texas and I didn't realize how popular APE was. I've seen results while on it, but it is awesome for someone to try it out and get amazing results from it. Really happy for you!

The end of your journey has arrived already? Wow. I'm a week behind on mine. Next week should've been my last week but I have two more weeks on my 8 week transformation. I didn't really transform myself a whole lot.

Bro, no need to thank us, we just provide you your support network! You did the work and you see the results of you hard work! The biggest challenge now will be incorporating what you did over the last three weeks and making it a part of your every day life! Unless you are specifically cutting in preparation for a cut, then you need to maintain a healthy diet. That doesn't mean you cant hit up the local Cheesecake Factory, but I wouldn't do it every day! Good job bro! In to see what you do next!
