Is milk healthy? I've always drank tons of milk I've never broken a bone and thought it was healthy. Lately I've gotten into bodybuilding a little but and milk has 12gs of sugar in one cup. So is milk okay to drink or not?

I stopped drinking milk a few years ago because of the sugar content. Even though it's not added sugar, I only want to have sugar in my diet where I can taste it, like in fruits. I drink unsweetened soy or almond milk instead.
However, if you're not worried about naturally occurring sugars, I'd actually suggest whole milk over any other kind. It is a balanced source of protein, fat, and carbohydrates.Make Fihe Not Fat Again.

Everyone knows sugar is bad for you. Just like hundreds of years ago everyone knew the earth was flat.
Hope that puts things in to perspective OP. At 15 you should be more worried about eating food, and having a good time with your friends than the sugar content in milk.Psych & handcuffs

"Sugar is bad for you" is one of those oft-repeated half truths repeated and perpetuated by the average joe, similar to "5-6 small meals a day" and "don't eat at night".
The problem with health isn't sugar necessarily, but sugar is one of the causes of a myriad of long term health problems and diseases---however, this is from the average joe and his excessive consumption of overly refined and processed sugars, added sugars. Several sodas all day, sweets all day, etc. NOT sugar from fruit, milk, etc.
Boggles my mind to watch a co-workers down a few 300+ cal 100g sugar soft drinks all day long.
