Completely agree with OP. Tap water all day errday. I buy bottle water to just refill with my tap water.

more toxins leech in the plastic after the surface is exposed to air.. so youre worse off than just drinking the water in every bottle

NYC water is pretty tasty and clean tbh. I still put a filter on mine but compare it to places like Florida and California. The tap water in Florida smells like sulphur, and in Cali it tastes like schit.

Pennsylvania has decent tap water too.
