    wrist starting to really hurt!

    Hey all,

My wrist is starting to really hurt, even when I do regular daily things such as take a shower. Lifting is the only strain I put on it so I'm assuming that is the reason. Has anyone else experienced this? Could I be doing something wrong when I lift? I really don't want to stop lifting till it heals so any help will do.

    Thanks.

Wrist tendonitis. I think that's what it's called. From my experience, I kept lifting while wearing wrist wraps. It'll go away eventually

I had this, you need to find the exercise/cause of the pain and just stop doing it. For me it was barbell and preacher curls, I didn't even take anytime off the gym and now they're fully healed

Curls, bench press and shoulder exercises generally can irritate your wrists if you've messed them up. They sell wrist straps for added support that will help get rid of the pain in the meantime and give your tendons a chance to heal up.

Something like this is what you need: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sck/wraps.html
