So, I'm at 5am and the Tracy Anderson Method comes on an infomercial. Holy hell, I've never seen so much workout fail in one 15 minute clip (except perhaps the combo of Crossfit Fail Youtube videos). I have to hand it to her though, she probably makes more in one month than I make in a year, charging her celebrity clients $1000's. Hey, whatever people want to do, I just appreciated a good laugh after being up all night with a fussy baby.

I found this 5 minute promo. Apparently, the secret is "strategic muscle engineering" (1:10). I guess I'm doing it wrong by focusing on the larger muscle groups. Her "dynamic eating plan" involves eating pureed foods.

The guy looks like he's thinking "How do fuk did I get talked into doing this." While Tracey looks completely annoyed that she is doing her own workout. One would think that the host of the video would be all smiles in an attempt to sell the workout. Heck Tony Horton, Jillian Michaels and that guy for the Insanity videos maybe annoying but at least they look like they believe what they are selling. I wonder if that's her sex face too...
If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

I could only sit through one minute before I had to turn it off. I was getting hypnotized by all of the crazy arm movements. People actually pay for this ****? Though I suppose it appeals to all the girls who don't want to pick up a dumbbell because they might - GASP - get big!!! This chick looks like she needs a cheeseburger or two.

Oh lawd! Women's approach to fitness is seriously f-ed up.
I had two SMH incidents while out shopping yesterday. First was when I bought some gym shorts and the assistant says to me "oh these are great, like when you are doing BodyPump." BodyPump... Weight training for people that aren't actually weight training.
Second what's when I was in a change room and someone else was complaining the clothes were tight on her stomach. Her friend says "well you're just going to have to get on the treadmill and do some cardio." Never mind all those extra calories.....

You'd be surprised at some the bodybuilders, strongmen and boxers that eat baby food. We've had quite a few members on here that do this.
You can even find it mentioned in articles on here.. here's he's using it for hydration though.. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mdlabs9.htmLast edited by grace_ou; 01-05-2013 at 01:38 PM.

On a few other fitness forums I belong to, she's a favorite. How wonderful she is making the world teenie tiny! She looks like a chicken flapping its wings. Sad to say, I got some of her workouts on the cheap used just cause I had to see what the hype was all about. Good for a laugh for me anyway.
Smile, it makes people wonder what you're up to!

I like the mime workout! The hitchiker, hideho neighbor, and about 14 different ways to punch it
Pretty sure my delts and traps would have been fried from that "workout"
I like how the vid was constantly sped up at the beat. Too bad it was not sped up permanently to the end..where she is very proud (unconvinced).Journal- One of the Ogres
