Friday was crazy. Meetings all day and had to go at night to start setting up for a huge Boy Scout fundraiser I was coordinating, so no gym. Monday I had to drive to our office in Albany to attend orientation. I switched from contractor to employee. I'm not sure the rest of this week will be any better. Bill is out of town. I have Mike's 8th grade graduation tonight (high school next year!). And I may need to drive to Long Island tomorrow to pick Mike up from a wake. My ex's grandfather died and they are holding the wake tomorrow and the funeral on Friday. Mike has his 8th grade class trip Friday, so I offered to pick him up from the wake so he could make an appearance there and still go on the trip. My ex might make him go to the funeral. Which will suck (even though it may be the right thing) as he missed the 8th grade dance because he was at the West Point Camporee. Next week is TKD testing, so as usual I will be taking off.
Crazy busy! But it will be worth it for both of them.
Hey there!

OK, so with starting the new job the gym was an impossibility. Training and sorting out my new benefits took a surprising amount of time. And last week was belt testing, which I always take off. Kevin is now a recommended black belt and has Phase 1 testing on Wednesday (there are 4 tests spread out over 6 months). The past couple of weeks were rough for him as he had to split his focus between focusing on his last colored belt test and the first black belt test. Now he has single focus, so hopefully he'll relax, the poor kid. Mike and I are now bodan belts. It was more exciting than I expected to get the new belts. Family pic after the belt ceremony:
Workout for this morning:
x
Single legged leg press: sledx8x3
Wide stance hack: 90x8x3 PWO
DB RDL: 30x8x3
Seated shoulder press: 20x8x3
1-legged RDL: 10x3
Lat raise: 10x10x3
RDLs bothered my back. I need to find another ham exercise. Skipped leg extensions and leg curls as I was short on time this morning. Can't wait until school is out and I can go earlier!
Hey, stranger! I haven't been doing cardio so I haven't been on there, either.
Since the rant died there's no place to go.Last edited by erinlee01; 06-23-2014 at 06:22 AM. Reason: Apparently ***** is now censored. WTF?
