phil abuses the living **** out of slin (look at this waist and his inflated muscle bellies), leverone not as much, hence why his waist was tighther and his muscles looked much more dense.
kevin will **** on phil any day of the week.
this was 230-240lb of pure muscle.

where this waist talk with Phil come from? noticing it loads lately. if people keep saying it still doesn't make it true. Is it some Kai vs Phil thing because Kai came in with a tightest waist he's had in a while. phil is still tighter especially from the front.
He has one of the tightest waists about. might get some bloat on his gut but not where near 90% of the pro's. Dexter carries more bloat IMO

experience o natural one. rember phil is natural remember that.
'also,, the first 2 min of the first posted video with creed,, probbaly the best bodybuild motivation video in history of bodybuilding,, it is a very much what advanced bodybuild should be like ,, it is ofcourse the epidom of it ,,,its not possible for everyone to look like that at 240...but! it is what bodybuilder should aim at at the absolit top ,, as in condition and as big as you can get for your self,,
while most look at the delts arms pecs traps...what i look is the waist...take a look at that waist...no gut no balooned insulina balonie,, tight conditioned with animalistic leaness and condition ,, the reason i keep coming to this tread is because...this! is what bodybuild is all about,, it is frank zane taken to the absolit maximus size,,
what you see kevin there is the biggest conditioned bodybuilder can get to while remaining like old time bodybuilders...this is right there is the best a bodybuilder EVER looked like,, you will never see or train or be around bodybuild who look better,, he was the exact! border between the weirdos today and the greats of the past,,
this is what bodybuild should be about,, even if you cant get there...even if you are nto as good lets say you are bobbie and you coudnt get to kevin level....still! notice bobbie remained with the past he didnt go nuts and did a trey brower balonie or the fellas of today balonie,, he did the best he could with what god gave him
this is what bodybuild is all about friends,,
kevin will be remembered very well ,,

nobody can KNOW, however be reasonable. Phil is an extremist, he knew early on he wanted to be at the top of the sport. Meeting Jay and getting sponsored early only fuelled this obsession. He wanted to get to the top as fast as possible, he GROWS into shows with the use of a lot of insulin. Phil talks about having a terrible appetite as well. Do you understand how insulin works? look at the videos leading up to the olympia, his muscles are BLOWN up and huge, but they lack a real hardness and do not project strength, just freakiness without a real foundation. Compare an off season jay or ronnie to off season phil and you'll see exactly what I mean.
Phil is smart though, in an off season flex video he talks about going back and building foundation with heavier weights in the off season. He knows it too, but I believe he is maxed out, he regressed in the most recent olympia plain and simple. He needs to worry less about being bigger, he can never be ronnie doesn't have the structure, but he can be sharp with great full muscle bellies... nobody else has them."You're a real winner. And if somebody was growing into shows, it was Kevin Levrone. So I don't really see how that is an argument for Levrone using less celltech than Heath, thus being the better bodybuilder.
But even if that were the case: Heath is still a far more complete bodybuilder than Levrone ever was. And bishes please, don't argue with "aesthetics" now... I'm sick of this sh*t and it belongs to the Misc. Because in terms of overall flow and proportions, Heath wins too.Sports Therapy- & Prevention Major - University of Potsdam

Do you ppl honestly think that Phil Heath got to 240lbs of REAL muscle in almost half the amount of time as Ronnie who is #1 when it comes to genetics. I don't fuking think so. All he did was take the kitchen sink right off the bat and blew up off insulin with no foundation. Essentially his 5 years of training leading up to the 2008 Olympia, he did almost the same thing Ronnie did between 1998 and 2003. Ronnie Coleman won his first Mr Olympia in 1998 at a weight of approximately 249lbs. His first competition was the Mr Texas in 1990 and he most likely started training a few years before this. This means that it took him around 10 years to build enough REAL muscle mass to win the Olympia.
Slin abuse tends to give a smoother look to the muscles, you can still be sharp but the hardness goes away. Also just LOOK at the muscle itself, and notice how blown up and full it looks. No I'm not just regurgitating Gh15 I've got friends who use it. Slin makes you gain weight and size FAST (i.e. phil wanting to be at the top quickly, rising through the ranks stupidly fast and gaining incredible size). But I can see why a lot of you would look at phil's pics/training and not realize how obvious the slin usage is, just lack of knowledge I guess. I'm not knocking phil I think he's got a sick physique, but get real him and kevin are two very different bodybuilders. I'm sure kev used slin but not to the extent that Phil did, OR for the same amount of time."You're a real winner. Wonder how impressive you'd look after dropping your drug use." -DPNZ

their legs (at least from front) have v.v. similar shape; massive inner thigh development, less teardrop, and outer quads more developed higher(when you seem phil&kai next to each other its surprising how their legs look the same size - its bcz they ARE but Kais shape creates better illusion of size)... phil dominates from rear though am afraid; his glute size/conditioning look colemanesque in some of those pics (okay not quite, more closer than anyone else)

Overall flow is not just the hand clasped most muscular pose. Put them next to each other from the back and look at the thickness and detail of Phil's versus Kevin's. Then look at the lower body and how diced and developed Phil's glutes and hamstrings are, whereas Kevin's are good, but far from freakish. That's why Kevin never got a Sandow, he got repeatedly beaten from the rear. Not only upper-, but especially lower body wise. This is overlooked fast from most people, because they tend to not value lower body development as much as the upper body. However, in competitive bodybuilding it matters and if two athletes are on a similar level, stuff like this gives the edge to one or the other. In that case Phil.
